Abstract

An apparatus configured to provide a beneficial biological effect for a subject, and/or a method of treating the subject using the apparatus. The apparatus may be configured to trigger and maintain the elevation of Glutathione levels within the subject. The apparatus may rely on a non-invasive mechanism to elevate Glutathione levels in the subject. The apparatus may not require a traditional power source such as a battery or wall plug in order to be effective in elevating Glutathione levels in the subject. To trigger and maintain the elevation of Glutathione levels within the subject, the apparatus may transmit communication to the body of the subject that results in increased levels of Glutathione within the subject.

Claims

1. An apparatus configured to provide a beneficial biological effect for a subject, the apparatus comprising:

one or more substrates;

a chemical mixture disposed on or about the substrate, the chemical mixture including one or more natural amino acids, wherein if the one or more substrates and the chemical mixture are brought proximate to the subject without directly contacting the subject, the proximity of the one or more substrates and the chemical mixture to the subject trigger and maintain an increase in Glutathione levels in the body of the subject;

an enclosure that surrounds the one or more substrates and the chemical mixture.

2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the chemical mixture comprises Glutathione.

3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the enclosure prevents the one or more substrates and/or the chemical mixture from coming into direct contact with the subject.

4. The apparatus of claim 3, further comprising a mechanism that holds the enclosure in place at or near the skin of the subject.

5. The apparatus of claim 4, wherein the mechanism that holds the enclosure in place at or near the skin of the subject comprises one or more of an adhesive, a strap, an item of clothing, or an item of jewelry.

6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the increase in Glutathione levels in the body of the subject are triggered and maintained by communication transmitted from within the enclosure to the body of the subject.

7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the communication transmitted from within the enclosure to the body of the subject comprises one or both of electromagnetic radiation or a magnetic field.

8. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a solid object included within the enclosure, wherein the solid object provides a pressure to the subject if the apparatus is held in contact with the subject.

9. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a magnet included within the enclosure.

10. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein electromagnetic radiation emanating from the chemical mixture is polarized by the apparatus in a predetermined manner.

11. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the chemical mixture includes between about 100 mg and about 900 mg of Glutathione.

12. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the chemical mixture includes between about 250 mg and about 750 mg of Glutathione.

13. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the chemical mixture includes about 500 mg of Glutathione.

14. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the chemical mixture includes between about 1 mL and about 50 mL of water.

15. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the chemical mixture includes between about 5 mL and about 40 mL of water.

16. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the chemical mixture includes between about 10 mL and about 30 mL of water.

17. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the chemical mixture includes about 15 mL of water.

18. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the chemical mixture includes one or more of distilled water, tap water, altered structure water, ionized water, de-ionized water, or filtered water.

19. A method of treating a subject, the method comprising:

elevating Glutathione levels by a therapeutically effective amount by affixing an apparatus to the subject such that the apparatus remains at or near the skin of the subject for a prolonged period of time, wherein the apparatus comprises;

one or more substrates;

a chemical mixture disposed on or about the one or more substrates, the chemical mixture including one or more natural amino acids, wherein if the one or more substrates and the chemical mixture are brought proximate to the subject without directly contacting the subject, the proximity of the one or more substrates and the chemical mixture to the subject trigger and maintain an increase in Glutathione levels in the body of the subject;

an enclosure that surrounds the one or more substrates and the chemical mixture.

20. The method of claim 19, wherein the chemical mixture comprises Glutathione.

21. The method of claim 19, wherein the enclosure prevents the one or more substrates and/or the chemical mixture from coming into direct contact with the subject.

22. A method of treating a subject, the method comprising:

treating a subject suffering from a Glutathione mediated condition including one or more of a pulmonary disease, a degenerative brain condition, a viral infection, a burn injury, acute pancreatitis, an immune dysfunction, exposure to a chemical weapon, an effect of mercury exposure, or diabetes by elevating Glutathione levels in the subject to a therapeutically effective level by affixing an apparatus to the subject such that the apparatus remains at or near the skin of the subject for a prolonged period of time, wherein the apparatus comprises;

one or more substrates;

a chemical mixture disposed on or about the one or more substrates, the chemical mixture including one or more natural amino acids, wherein if the one or more substrates and the chemical mixture are brought proximate to the subject without directly contacting the subject, the proximity of the one or more substrates and the chemical mixture to the subject trigger and maintain an increase in Glutathione levels in the body of the subject;

an enclosure that surrounds the one or more substrates and the chemical mixture.

23. The method of claim 22, wherein the chemical mixture comprises Glutathione.

24. The apparatus of claim 22, wherein the enclosure prevents the one or more substrates and/or the chemical mixture from coming into direct contact with the subject.

25. The method of claim 22, wherein treating the subject suffering from a Glutathione mediated condition including one or more of a pulmonary disease, a degenerative brain condition, a viral infection, a burn injury, acute pancreatitis, an immune dysfunction, or diabetes comprises treating the subject for side effects of another treatment administered to the subject for one or more of a pulmonary disease, a degenerative brain condition, a viral infection, a burn injury, acute pancreatitis, an immune dysfunction, or diabetes.

26. The method of claim 22, wherein treating the subject for one or more of a pulmonary disease, a degenerative brain condition, a viral infection, a burn injury, acute pancreatitis, an immune dysfunction, or diabetes comprises elevating the Glutathione levels within the body of the subject.

27. The method of claim 22, wherein treating the subject for one or more of a pulmonary disease, a degenerative brain condition, a viral infection, a burn injury, acute pancreatitis, an immune dysfunction, or diabetes comprises treating the subject for rheumatoid arthritis.

28. The method of claim 22, wherein treating the subject for one or more of a pulmonary disease, a degenerative brain condition, a viral infection, a burn injury, acute pancreatitis, an immune dysfunction, or diabetes comprises treating the subject for Parkinson'"'"'s disease.
