- attaching a sensor to a patient;
configuring an identification band in an arrangement containing the signal cable;
securely fixing the identification band to the patient;
connecting a sensor signal cable connected to the sensor to a diagnostic test monitoring system; and
testing the patient;
wherein the identification band is configured to encircle a portion of the patient and to evidence tampering when removed.
