Abstract
A position calculation method includes storing navigation data at a given reference date as reference navigation data corresponding to the reference date, transmitting the reference date to request a server that provides navigation data to transmit latest differential navigation data that indicates a difference between the navigation data at the reference date and latest navigation data, receiving the latest differential navigation data from the server, and calculating a position by performing given positioning calculations based on the latest differential navigation data received from the server and the reference navigation data.

requesting long-term predicted ephemeris, the long-term predicted ephemeris including a first predicted value of satellite orbit parameter valid in a first unit period and a difference between the first predicted value and a second predicted value of the satellite orbit parameter valid in a second unit period; acquiring the long-term predicted ephemeris; and calculating the position of the position calculation device using the long-term predicted ephemeris.

3. A method for transmitting long-term predicted ephemeris comprising:

receiving a request of the long-term predicted ephemeris, the long-term predicted ephemeris including a first predicted value of satellite orbit parameter valid in a first unit period and a difference between the first predicted value and a second predicted value of the satellite orbit parameter valid in a second unit period; calculating the difference in response to the request; and transmitting the long-term predicted ephemeris.

a position calculation device including; a request unit that requests long-term predicted ephemeris to a server, the long-term predicted ephemeris including a first predicted value of satellite orbit parameter valid in a first unit period and a difference between the first predicted value and a second predicted value of the satellite orbit parameter valid in a second unit period; an acquiring unit that acquires the long-term predicted ephemeris from the server; and a position calculator that calculates a position of the position calculation device using the long-term predicted ephemeris, the server including; a receiver that receives the request of the long-term predicted ephemeris from the position calculation device; a difference calculator that calculates the difference in response to the request; and a transmitter that transmits the long-term predicted ephemeris to the position calculation device.
