- providing a device having at least first and second screens, wherein the device is in a closed state, and wherein, in the closed state, the first and second screens face opposite directions;
in a first display mode, presenting a first window on a first screen;
receiving an input from in a gesture capture region, wherein the input requests a switch to a second display mode, wherein the second display mode includes displaying a display on the second screen;
in response to the input, switching to the second screen; and
presenting the first window on the second screen.

Methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface on a second screen. More particularly, the method includes a change in the display mode of a multiple screen device from a first screen to a second screen while the device is closed. The change in the display mode may be made in response to one or more actions conducted by a user in a gesture capture region. The actions can include tapping the device in the gesture capture region. The actions can also include further input received in a window provided in response to the taps in the gesture capture region.
