Abstract

Products and processes are provided in which information an entity is offered a posting award to provide feedback information. In response to receiving feedback information, the posting award is provided to the entity.

Claims

1. Apparatus, comprising:

a processor;

a communication port coupled to the processor; and

a storage device operatively coupled to the processor and containing instructions configured to direct the processor to;

offer an entity a posting award to provide feedback information; and

provide the posting award to the entity in response to receiving the feedback information.

2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the instructions configured to direct the processor to offer an entity a posting award comprises instructions configured to direct the processor to offer the entity the posting award to receive the feedback information regarding at least one of a buyer, a seller or a product associated with a posting site.

3. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the product is a product previously purchased by the entity.

4. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the buyer is a further entity to which the entity has previously sold an item.

5. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the seller is a further entity from which the entity has previously purchased an item.

6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the instructions configured to direct the processor to provide the posting award further comprises instructions configured to direct the processor to calculate a posting payment amount, and providing of the payment amount to the entity.

7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the instructions configured to direct the processor to provide the posting award comprises instructions configured to direct the processor to transfer the posting payment amount.

8. The apparatus of claim 6, including instructions configured to direct the processor to receive account information identifying of an account with respect to which the posting payment amount is provided.

9. The apparatus of claim 8, including instructions configured to direct the processor to validate the account information.

10. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the account information comprises at least one of debit and credit card information.

11. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the posting payment amount is a positive amount that is paid to the entity.

12. A method comprising:

offering an entity a posting award to provide feedback information; and

using at least one processor and responsive to receiving the feedback information, providing the posting award to the entity.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein the offering comprises offering the entity the posting award to receive the feedback information regarding at least one of a buyer, a seller or a product associated with a posting site.

14. The method of claim 13, wherein the product is a product previously purchased by the entity.

15. The method of claim 13, wherein the buyer is a further entity to which the entity has previously sold an item.

16. The method of claim 13, wherein the seller is a further entity from which the entity has previously purchased an item.

17. The method of claim 12, wherein the providing of the posting award further comprises calculating a posting payment amount, and providing of the payment amount to the entity.

18. The method of claim 17, wherein the providing the posting award comprises transferring the posting payment amount.

19. The method of claim 17, receiving account information identifying an account with respect to which the posting payment amount is provided.

20. The method of claim 19, including validating the account information.

21. The method of claim 19, wherein the account information comprises at least one of debit and credit card information.

22. The method of claim 17, wherein the posting payment amount is a positive amount that is paid to the entity.

23. A computer readable medium storing instructions configured to direct a processor to:

offer an entity a posting award to provide feedback information; and

provide the posting award to the entity in response to receiving the feedback information.
