Abstract

A light-emitting device includes a power feeding line to which a predetermined voltage is supplied; a light-emitting element formed of a first electrode, a second electrode, and a light-emitting layer interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a driving transistor that controls the amount of current supplied to the light-emitting element from the power feeding line. The power feeding line includes a portion interposed between the first electrode and the driving transistor.

Claims

1. A light-emitting device comprising:

a data line through which a data signal is transmitted;

a power feeding line to which a predetermined potential is applied;

a light-emitting element in which a light-emitting layer is interposed between a first electrode and a second electrode;

a first transistor having a first gate electrode; and

a conducting portion that connects the first electrode of the light-emitting element to the first transistor,

the power feeding line having a first portion disposed between the conducting portion and the data line in plan view.

2. The light-emitting device according to claim 1,

the data line extending along a first direction,

the power feeding line further having a second portion that extends along a second direction different from the first direction, and

the first portion of the power feeding line extending along the first direction.

3. The light-emitting device according to claim 2, further comprising:

a selection line extending along the second direction; and

a second transistor having a second gate electrode connected to the selection line.

4. The light-emitting device according to claim 1,

the first portion of the power feeding line being disposed between the first gate electrode of the first transistor and the data line in plan view.

5. The light-emitting device according to claim 1, further comprising a first insulating layer disposed between the first electrode of the light-emitting element and the conducting portion, the first insulating layer having a first contact hole,

the first electrode of the light-emitting element being connected to the conducting portion through a conducting material disposed in the first contact hole.

6. The light-emitting device according to claim 5,

the first portion of the power feeding line and the conducting portion being formed out of the same layer.

7. The light-emitting device according to claim 1,

the first transistor controlling a level of a current which flows through the light-emitting element according to the data signal, and

the first transistor being electrically connected between the first electrode of the light-emitting element and the power feeding line when the current flows through the light-emitting element.

8. The light-emitting device according to claim 1, further comprising a third transistor connected between the first transistor and the power feeding line,

the third transistor controlling a level of a current which flows through the light-emitting element according to the data signal, and

the third transistor being electrically connected between the first electrode of the light-emitting element and the power feeding line when the current flows through the light-emitting element.

9. The light-emitting device according to claim 1, further comprising;

a forth transistor that controls a conduction state between the first gate electrode of the first transistor and a first drain of the first transistor; and

a connecting portion,

the first gate electrode of the first transistor being connected to the forth transistor through the connecting portion, and

the first portion of the power feeding line being disposed between the connecting potion and the data line.

14. The light-emitting device according to claim 1:

the first insulating layer contacting the first electrode.

16. An electronic apparatus comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 1.

17. An electronic apparatus comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 2.

10. A light-emitting device comprising:

a data line through which a data signal is transmitted, the data line being disposed above a plane of a substrate;

a power feeding line to which a predetermined potential is applied, the power feeding line being disposed above the plane of the substrate;

a first electrode that is disposed above the plane of the substrate;

a second electrode that is disposed above the plane of the substrate;

a light-emitting layer that is disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode;

a first transistor; and

a conducting portion that connects the first electrode to the first transistor,

the power feeding line having a first portion disposed between the conducting portion and the data line when viewed a direction perpendicular to the plane of the substrate.

11. The light-emitting device according to claim 10, further comprising:

a first insulating layer that is disposed above the plane of the substrate,

the conducting portion connecting the first electrode to the first transistor through a conducting material disposed in a first contact hole formed in the first insulting layer.

18. An electronic apparatus comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 10.

12. A light-emitting device comprising:

a data line through which a data signal is transmitted, the data line being disposed above a plane of a substrate;

a power feeding line to which a predetermined potential is applied, the power feeding line being disposed above the plane of the substrate;

a first electrode that is disposed above the plane of the substrate;

a second electrode that is disposed above the plane of the substrate;

a light-emitting layer that is disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode;

a first transistor; and

a first insulating layer that is disposed above the plane of the substrate,

the first transistor connected to the first electrode through a conducting material disposed in a first contact hole formed in the first insulting layer, and

the power feeding line having a portion disposed between the first contact hole and the data line when viewed a direction perpendicular to the plane of the substrate.

13. The light-emitting device according to claim 12,

the first contact hole overlapping the first electrode when viewed a direction perpendicular to the plane of the substrate.

19. An electronic apparatus comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 12.

15. A light-emitting device comprising:

a data line through which a data signal is transmitted, the data line being disposed above a plane of a substrate;

a wiring line to which a predetermined potential is applied, the wiring line being disposed above the plane of the substrate;

a first electrode that is disposed above the plane of the substrate;

a second electrode that is disposed above the plane of the substrate;

a light-emitting layer that is disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode;

a first transistor; and

a first insulating layer that is disposed above the plane of the substrate,

the first transistor connected to the first electrode through a conducting material disposed in a first contact hole formed in the first insulting layer, and

the wiring line having a portion disposed between the first contact hole and the data line when viewed a direction perpendicular to the plane of the substrate.

20. An electronic apparatus comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 15.
