ONBOARD PERCEPTION SYSTEM
First Claim
1. An onboard perception system for a vehicle, said onboard perception system operable with a state assessment unit adapted to at least assess a state of a first external object located in a vicinity of said vehicle hosting said onboard perception system, the onboard perception system comprising:
- a first sensor assembly for assessing sound information, andan evaluation unit adapted to evaluate reason of a change in the state of said first external object by using said assessed sound information.

14. A method for evaluating a reason of a change in a state of a first external object in an onboard perception system , said first external object being located in a vicinity of a vehicle hosting said onboard perception system, said method comprising:
-
assessing sound information from a vicinity of said vehicle using a first sensor assembly, and analyzing said sound information in order to evaluate the reason of said change in the state of said first external object. - View Dependent Claims (15, 16, 17, 18)
