second program instructions to make configuration parameters of the number of plug-in software components available to a user via a user interface, wherein the configuration parameters define operating characteristics of the number of plug-in software components;
third program instructions to receive the configuration parameters from the user via the user interface;
fourth program instructions to activate the number of plug-in software components by the consumer of data processing resources;
fifth program instructions to control operation of the number of plug-in software components by the consumer of data processing resources after the number of plug-in software components is activated;
wherein the software framework comprises the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth program instructions; and
wherein the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth program instructions are stored on the computer readable storage medium.

a user interface; a workload manager configured to automatically use first data processing resources to process a workload, wherein the first data processing resources are provided as a service; and an integrator connected for communication with the user interface and the workload manager, wherein the integrator comprises a software framework and is configured to; load a number of plug-in software components in the software framework, wherein the number of plug-in software components are configured to provide for using the first data processing resources by the workload manager to process the workload; make configuration parameters of the number of plug-in software components available to a user on the user interface via the software framework, wherein the configuration parameters define operating characteristics of the number of plug-in software components; receive the configuration parameters from the user interface via the software framework; activate the number of plug-in software components by the workload manager via the software framework; and control operation of the number of plug-in software components by the workload manager via the software framework after the number of plug-in software components is activated. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21)
