1. A method for presenting a path of a living target via a data transfer network, the method comprising:
- measuring with a wireless monitoring device in real-time 3D acceleration data caused by the movement of a living target,storing the 3D acceleration data defined with the monitoring device into a database accessible via a data transfer network, andediting from the acceleration data stored in the database an illustration of the path of the living target, which illustration can be presented via a data transfer network, which illustration is presented on a monitor of a data processing device,wherein in order to present the path of the living target, the method comprises;
performing calibration of a rest place of the living target,correcting with the aid of the rest place data the measurement location and measurement direction data related to short-term 3D acceleration measurement data starting from the latest rest place, andsending corrected path data to at least one data processing device.

Abstract
A monitoring method of a path of an animal can be realized via a data transfer network, a monitoring arrangement used in the method, a server and a computer program to be used in the monitoring arrangement, which are included in the monitoring arrangement. With the method and monitoring arrangement, the path of a monitored living target can be visualized on a data processing device for a selected time period. The data processing device can be situated in a different location than the animal being monitored. The recent 3D acceleration measurement data of the living target is compared to the long-term average data. The measurement data used in determining the path are obtained from the wireless monitoring device, which the animal carries with it.
