Abstract

A base station is provided with a reference signal for channel state measurement generation part that generates a reference signal for channel state measurement for a mobile terminal to measure a channel state, and transmission antenna parts, that transmit reference signal for channel state measurements to the mobile terminal with each transmission antenna port. The mobile terminal is provided with reception antenna parts, that receive the reference signal for channel state measurements transmitted from the base station in reception antenna ports, and a feedback information generation part which measures a channel state between the transmission antenna port and the reception antenna port based on the received reference signal for channel state measurement to calculate a channel state estimation value, performs grouping on a plurality of channel state estimation values, and generates feedback information for the base station.

23. A mobile terminal that communicates with a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports, the mobile terminal comprising:

a feedback information generation part that generates feedback information based on a reference signal for channel state measurement,

wherein the feedback information generation part generates information indicative of a precoding matrix that is recommended for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes, and

the plurality of types of precoding matrixes is used for performing the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

25. The mobile terminal according to claim 23, wherein the feedback information generation part generates information indicative of the recommended precoding matrix, while considering weighting between transmission antenna ports subjected to the grouping.

26. The mobile terminal according to claim 23, wherein the grouping of transmission antenna ports is performed based on a parameter of the base station.

27. The mobile terminal according to claim 23, wherein the grouping of transmission antenna ports is performed based on a parameter of the mobile terminal.

28. The mobile terminal according to claim 23, wherein the grouping of transmission antenna ports is performed based on a parameter of a component carrier.

24. A mobile terminal that communicates with a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports, the mobile terminal comprising:

a feedback information generation part that generates feedback information based on a reference signal for channel state measurement,

wherein the feedback information generation part generates a CQI that is information indicative of a coding rate and a modulation scheme that are recommended for the base station, and

the CQI indicates a coding rate and a modulation scheme such that reception quality meets required quality in using a precoding matrix recommended for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes of precoding weights to perform the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

39. The mobile terminal according to claim 24, wherein the feedback information generation part generates information indicative of the recommended precoding matrix, while considering weighting between transmission antenna ports subjected to the grouping.

40. The mobile terminal according to claim 24, wherein the grouping of transmission antenna ports is performed based on a parameter of the base station.

41. The mobile terminal according to claim 24, wherein the grouping of transmission antenna ports is performed based on a parameter of the mobile terminal.

42. The mobile terminal according to claim 24, wherein the grouping of transmission antenna ports is performed based on a parameter of a component carrier.

29. A communication system in which a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports and a mobile terminal communicate with each other,

wherein the base station comprises a reference signal for channel state measurement generation part that generates a reference signal for channel state measurement that is mutually known between the base station and the mobile terminal,

the mobile terminal comprises a feedback information generation part that generates feedback information based on the reference signal for channel state measurement,

the feedback information generation part generates information indicative of a precoding matrix that is recommended for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes, and

the plurality of types of precoding matrixes is used for performing the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

30. A communication system in which a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports and a mobile terminal communicate with each other,

wherein the base station comprises a reference signal for channel state measurement generation part that generates a reference signal for channel state measurement that is mutually known between the base station and the mobile terminal,

the mobile terminal comprises a feedback information generation part that generates feedback information based on the reference signal for channel state measurement,

the feedback information generation part generates a CQI that is information indicative of a coding rate and a modulation scheme that are recommended for the base station, and

the CQI indicates a coding rate and a modulation scheme such that reception quality meets required quality in using a precoding matrix recommend for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes of precoding weights to perform the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

31. A base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports to communicate with a mobile terminal, the base station comprising:

a reception part that receives information indicative of a precoding matrix that is recommended for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes; and

a precoding part that performs precoding processing for the mobile terminal based on the information indicative of the recommended precoding matrix,

wherein the plurality of types of precoding matrixes is used for performing the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

32. A base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports to communicate with a mobile terminal, the base station comprising:

a reception part that receives a CQI that is information indicative of a coding rate and a modulation scheme that are recommended for the base station;

a coding part that controls a coding rate for the mobile terminal based on the CQI; and

a modulation part that controls a modulation scheme for the mobile terminal based on the CQI,

wherein the CQI indicates a coding rate and a modulation scheme such that reception quality meets required quality in using a precoding matrix recommend for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes of precoding weights to perform the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

33. A wireless communication method performed by a mobile terminal for a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports,

wherein as a precoding matrix that is recommended for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes,

the plurality of types of precoding matrixes is used for performing the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

34. A wireless communication method performed by a mobile terminal for a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports,

wherein the mobile terminal generates a CQI that is information indicative of a coding rate and a modulation scheme that are recommended for the base station, and

the CQI indicates a coding rate and a modulation scheme such that reception quality meets required quality in using a precoding matrix recommend for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes of precoding weights to perform the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

35. A wireless communication method performed in a communication system in which a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports and a mobile terminal communicate with each other,

wherein the base station generates a reference signal for channel state measurement that is mutually known between the base station and the mobile terminal,

the mobile terminal generates information indicative of a precoding matrix that is recommended for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes, based on the reference signal for channel state measurement, and

the plurality of types of precoding matrixes is used for performing the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

36. A wireless communication method performed in a communication system in which a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports and a mobile terminal communicate with each other,

wherein the base station generates a reference signal for channel state measurement that is mutually known between the base station and the mobile terminal, and

as a CQI that is information indicative of a coding rate and a modulation scheme that are recommended for the base station, the mobile terminal generates the CQI that indicates a coding rate and a modulation scheme such that reception quality meets required quality in using a precoding matrix recommend for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes of precoding weights to perform the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

37. A wireless communication method performed by a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports to communicate with a mobile terminal,

wherein the base station receives information indicative of a precoding matrix that is recommended for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes, and

the plurality of types of precoding matrixes is used for performing the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.

38. A wireless communication method performed by a base station having a plurality of transmission antenna ports to communicate with a mobile terminal,

wherein the base station receives a CQI that is information indicative of a coding rate and a modulation scheme that are recommended for the base station, and

based on the received CQI, controls a coding rate and a modulation scheme for the mobile terminal so that reception quality meets required quality in using a precoding matrix recommend for the base station among a plurality of beforehand set types of precoding matrixes of precoding weights to perform the same precoding processing for each group of the transmission antenna ports subjected to grouping.
