Abstract

A connecting element between a motor and a control unit includes a flat base plate having electrical bushings and an, in particular centered, opening. The base plate further includes a shaft around the opening. A first seal is provided at the edge of the base plate and a second seal is provided at the upper edge of the shaft.

Claims

1. A connecting element between a motor and a control unit, comprising:

a flat base plate including electrical bushings and an, in particular centered, opening, with the base plate having a shaft around the opening,

wherein a first seal is provided at an edge of the base plate and a second seal is provided at an upper edge of the shaft.

2. The connecting element according to claim 1, wherein the electrical bushings have a third seal, with press-in seals, in particular, being provided as third seals.

3. The connecting element according to claim 2, wherein the third seal projects at least partially beyond the base plate.

4. The connecting element according to claim 1, wherein the base plate has a round shape, with an O-ring, in particular, being provided as the first seal.

5. The connecting element according to claim 1, wherein:

the base plate has a bead with a recess in the edge region, and

the first seal is inserted into said bead.

6. The connecting element according to claim 1, wherein the shaft has a round shape, with an O-ring, in particular, being provided as the second seal.

7. The connecting element according to claim 6, wherein the second seal is arranged in the outer region of the shaft.

8. An assembly comprising:

a motor;

a connecting element including (i) a flat base plate, (ii) electrical bushings and (iii) an, in particular centered, opening; and

a control unit,

wherein the base plate has a shaft around the opening,

wherein the motor includes an upper recessed region for accommodating the connecting element and the control unit,

wherein the connecting element is introduced into the recessed region, and

wherein a first seal is provided at an edge of the base plate and a second seal is provided at an upper edge of the shaft.

9. The assembly according to claim 8, wherein the electrical bushings produce in each case separate electrical connections between the control unit and the motor.

10. The assembly according to claim 8, wherein the seals prevent liquid being exchanged between the upper region in the motor and the control unit.

11. The assembly according to claim 8, wherein:

the assembly is used in an electrical steering system, and

the motor is used to drive a steering mechanism of the electrical steering system.
