Abstract

A screen change method and device are provided. A first screen, from among a plurality of screens, is displayed on a first touch screen. A second screen, which precedes or succeeds the first screen in a sequence of the plurality of screens, is displayed on a second touch screen. A touch is detected on the first touch screen. Continuous movement of the detected touch from the first touch screen to the second touch screen is detected. Other screens, which are different from the first screen and the second screen, from among the plurality of screens, are displayed on the first touch screen and the second touch screen, in response to the detected continuous movement of the touch.

Claims

1. A screen change method for a device having a plurality of touch screens, the screen change method comprising the steps of:

displaying a first screen, from among a plurality of screens, on a first touch screen;

displaying a second screen, which precedes or succeeds the first screen in a sequence of the plurality of screens, on a second touch screen;

detecting a touch on the first touch screen;

detecting continuous movement of the detected touch from the first touch screen to the second touch screen; and

displaying other screens, which are different from the first screen and the second screen, from among the plurality of screens, on the first touch screen and the second touch screen, in response to the detected continuous movement of the touch,

wherein the plurality of screens are screens corresponding to a same application.

2. The screen change method of claim 1, wherein detecting the continuous movement of the detected touch comprises:

detecting that the detected touch starts from the first touch screen, passes through an interval between the first touch screen and the second touch screen, and arrives on the second touch screen.

3. The screen change method of claim 2, wherein arrival of the touch on the second touch screen is detected by using at least one of a time at which, an area in which, or a direction in which the touch is detected on the second touch screen.

4. The screen change method of claim 2, further comprising:

providing feedback on at least one of the first touch screen and the second touch screen in response to arrival of the touch on the second touch screen.

5. The screen change method of claim 4, wherein the feedback is provided as at least one of a visual feedback, an audible feedback, and a tactile feedback.

6. The screen change method of claim 1, wherein the second screen is a screen continuing in the sequence from the first screen according to a determined order.

7. The screen change method of claim 1, wherein the other screens comprise a first two screens in the sequence of the plurality of screens or a last two screens in the sequence of the plurality of screens.

8. A screen change method for a device having a plurality of touch screens, the screen change method comprising the steps of:

displaying a first home screen, from among a plurality of home screens, on a first touch screen;

displaying a second home screen, which precedes or succeeds the first home screen in a sequence of the plurality of home screens, on a second touch screen;

detecting a touch on the first touch screen;

detecting continuous movement of the detected touch from the first touch screen to the second touch screen; and

displaying other home screens, which are different from the first home screen and the second home screen, from among the plurality of home screens, on the first touch screen and the second touch screen, in response to the detected continuous movement of the touch.

9. The screen change method of claim 8, wherein arrival of the touch on the second touch screen is detected by using at least one of a time at which, an area in which, or a direction in which the touch is detected on the second touch screen.

10. The screen change method of claim 8, further comprising:

providing feedback on at least one of the first touch screen and the second touch screen in response to arrival of the touch on the second touch screen.

11. The screen change method of claim 8, wherein the second home screen is a screen that continues from the first home screen in the sequence according to a determined order.

12. The screen change method of claim 8, wherein the other home screens comprise a first two home screens in the sequence of the plurality of home screens or a last two home screens in the sequence of the plurality of home screens.

13. A screen change method for a device having a plurality of touch screens, the screen change method comprising the steps of:

displaying two continuous screens among a sequence of a plurality of screens on a first touch screen and a second touch screen, respectively;

detecting a touch on the first touch screen;

detecting a touch gesture comprising continuous movement of the detected touch from the first touch screen to the second touch screen; and

displaying other two screens, from among the plurality of screens, on the first touch screen and the second touch screen in response to the detected touch gesture.

14. The screen change method of claim 13, wherein the other two screens comprise a first two screens in the sequence of the plurality of screens or a last two screens in the sequence of the plurality of screens.

15. A device comprising:

a first touch screen for displaying a first screen among a plurality of screens;

a second touch screen for displaying a second screen, which precedes or succeeds the first screen in a sequence of the plurality of screens; and

a controller for controlling the first touch screen and the second touch screen,

wherein the controller detects continuous movement of a touch, detected on the first touch screen, from the first touch screen to the second touch screen, and displays other screens, which are different from the first screen and the second screen, from among the plurality of screens, on the first touch screen and the second touch screen, in response to the detected continuous movement of the touch, and the plurality of screens are screens corresponding to a same application.

16. The device of claim 15, wherein the controller displays one of a first two screens in the sequence of the plurality of screens and a last two screens in the sequence of the plurality of screens on the first touch screen and the second touch screen in response to the detected continuous movement of the touch.

17. The device of claim 15, wherein the detected continuous movement of the touch starts from the first touch screen, passes through an interval between the first touch screen and the second touch screen, and arrives on the second touch screen, and

the interval is formed between a first housing comprising the first touch screen and a second housing comprising the second touch screen.

18. A device comprising:

a first touch screen for displaying a first home screen among a plurality of home screens;

a second touch screen for displaying a second home screen, which precedes or succeeds the first home screen in a sequence of the plurality of home screens; and

a controller for controlling the first touch screen and the second touch screen;

wherein the controller detects continuous movement of a touch, detected on the first touch screen, from the first touch screen to the second touch screen, and displays other home screens, which are different from the first home screen and the second home screen, from among the plurality of home screens, on the first touch screen and the second touch screen, in response to the detected continuous movement of the touch.

19. The device of claim 18, wherein the controller displays one of a first two home screens in the sequence of the plurality of home screens and a last two home screens in the sequence of the plurality of home screens on the first touch screen and the second touch screen in response to the detected continuous movement of the touch.

20. The device of claim 18, wherein the detected continuous movement of the touch starts from the first touch screen, passes through an interval between the first touch screen and the second touch screen, and arrives on the second touch screen, and wherein the interval is formed between a first housing comprising the first touch screen and a second housing comprising the second touch screen.
