A medical kiosk having a modular configuration and designed to provide tele-med services to a user, said medical kiosk including first and second front panels, first and second rear panels, an interior chamber, a chamber access opening, and a user video conferencing system in said interior chamber, said user video conferencing system designed to enable the user in said interior chamber to have a real-time or near real-time tele-conference with a medical provider located remotely from said medical kiosk, said front and rear panels at least partially forming wall of said interior chamber, said first and second front panels having substantially the same foot print, said first and second rear panels having substantially the same foot print.
