DYNAMIC UPDATING OF CONTENT BASED ON GAMING-APPLICATION CONTEXT
First Claim
1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
- receiving first application data from a first application, wherein the first application data describes a first characteristic of first content, wherein the first content is presented by a first application associated with a wagering game session;
determining a relationship between the first characteristic and a second characteristic of second content, via at least one of one or more processors, wherein the second content is presented by a second application associated with the wagering game session while, concurrently, the first application presents the first content, and wherein the first application and second applications run independently from each other; and
modifying the second content dynamically, via at least one of the one or more processors, based on the relationship between the first characteristic and the second characteristic.

Abstract
A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In some embodiments, the operations can include receiving first application data from a first application, where the first application data describes a first characteristic of first content from the first application. The first application presents the first content during a wagering game session. The operations can further include determining a relationship between the first characteristic and a second characteristic of second content of a second application that presents the second content during the wagering game session while the first application presents the first content. The operations can further include modifying the second content dynamically based on the relationship between the first characteristic and the second characteristic.

7. One or more machine-readable storage media having instructions stored thereon, which when executed by a set of one or more processors causes the set of one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
-
receiving first application data from a first application, wherein the first application data describes a first characteristic of first content from the first application, and wherein the first application is presented via a wagering game machine during a wagering game session; analyzing the first characteristic of the first content in relation to a second characteristic of second content of a second application which is presented via the wagering game machine concurrently with the first application, wherein the first application and second application are independent applications from each other; determining a relationship between the first characteristic and the second characteristic based on the analyzing; and updating the second content dynamically based on the relationship between the first characteristic and the second characteristic. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11, 12)

13. A system comprising:
-
a server configured to provide a first gaming content; and a wagering game machine comprising a content controller configured to present the first gaming content via a first application, and present second gaming content via a second application concurrently with the first gaming content during a wagering game session, wherein the first application and second application are independent applications from each other, and a contextual management module configured to detect first data from the first application, wherein the first data describes the first content, analyze the first data, determine, via analysis of the first data, that a characteristic of the first data can be used to modify the second content, and modify the second content using the characteristic of the first data. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16)

17. An apparatus comprising:
-
one or more processors; and a contextual management module configured to, via the one or more processors, detect an event generated by a first application, wherein the event is generated for first content from a first application, and wherein the first application presents the first content via a wagering game machine during a wagering game session, analyze the event, determine, based on the analyzing, a relationship between the event and a rule associated with second content of a second application that presents the second content via the wagering game machine concurrently with the first application, wherein the first application and second application are independent applications from each other, and update the second content dynamically using the rule. - View Dependent Claims (18, 19, 20, 21)

22. An apparatus comprising:
-
means for receiving first application data from a first application, wherein the first application data describes a first characteristic of first content from the first application, and wherein the first application presents the first content via a first device during a wagering game session; means for determining a relationship between the first characteristic and a second characteristic of second content of a second application that presents the second content via machine second device while, concurrently, the first application presents the first content, wherein the first application and second application are independent applications from each other; and means for modifying the second content automatically based on the relationship between the first characteristic and the second characteristic. - View Dependent Claims (23, 24, 25)
