Abstract

To prevent communication interference between two or more wireless communication networks that have mutually different physical layers.

There is provided an interference preventing method, which prevents communication interference between two or more wireless communication networks having mutually different physical layers, of a wireless communication network in which wireless communication is performed between a plurality of devices 2 and a coordinator 3, wherein, by using a coordinator of each one of the wireless communication networks, a scanning period 26 for scanning a coexistence notification signal that is transmitted from a coordinator of another wireless communication network for a predetermined period is arranged before a first super frame immediately after input of power, the CB 27 of the coordinator is transmitted at least once or more for one super frame, and, in a case where the CB 27 transmitted from the coordinator 3 of the another wireless communication network is acquired during the scanning period 26, control for preventing communication interference with the another wireless communication network 10 is performed.

Claims

1. A wireless communication system in which two or more wireless communication networks having mutually different physical layers coexist, and, in each one of the wireless communication networks, wireless communication is performed between one or more devices and a coordinator,

wherein a coordinator of each one of the wireless communication networks, before a first super frame immediately after input of power, arranges a scanning period for scanning a coexistence notification signal that is transmitted from a coordinator of another wireless communication network for a predetermined period, transmits the coexistence notification signal of the coordinator once for one or a plurality of super frames, and, in a case where the coexistence notification signal transmitted from the coordinator of the another wireless communication network is acquired during the scanning period, performs control for preventing communication interference with the another wireless communication network.

2. The wireless communication system according to claim 1, wherein the coordinator arranges the scanning period that has a length equal to or longer than a length of the super frame.

The wireless communication system according to claim 1, wherein one or both of the coordinator immediately after the input of power and the coordinator of the another wireless communication network performs synchronization, interrupt of communication, or start of communication through a different channel as the control for preventing communication interference.

5. The wireless communication system according to claim 1, wherein the coexistence notification signal is transmitted based on a specification of the physical layer of frequency shifting keying (FSK), orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), and direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS).

3. A wireless communication system in which two or more wireless communication networks having mutually different physical layers coexist, and, in each one of the wireless communication networks, wireless communication is performed between a plurality of devices and a coordinator,

wherein a coordinator of each one of the wireless communication networks, immediately after input of power, arranges a scanning period for scanning a coexistence notification signal that is transmitted from a coordinator of another wireless communication network for a predetermined period, sequentially transmits the coexistence notification signal of the coordinator at least at intervals, and, in a case where the coexistence notification signal transmitted from the coordinator of the another wireless communication network is acquired during the scanning period, performs control for preventing communication interference with the another wireless communication network.

An interference preventing method, which prevents communication interference between two or more wireless communication networks having mutually different physical layers, of a wireless communication network in which wireless communication is performed between one or more devices and a coordinator,

wherein, by using a coordinator of each one of the wireless communication networks, a scanning period for scanning a coexistence notification signal that is transmitted from a coordinator of another wireless communication network for a predetermined period is arranged before a first super frame immediately after input of power, the coexistence notification signal of the coordinator is transmitted once for one or a plurality of super frames, and, in a case where the coexistence notification signal transmitted from the coordinator of the another wireless communication network is acquired during the scanning period, control for preventing communication interference with the another wireless communication network is performed.

7. The interference preventing method according to claim 6, wherein the scanning period that has a length equal to or longer than a length of the super frame is arranged.

The interference preventing method according to claim 6, wherein one or both of the coordinator immediately after the input of power and the coordinator of the another wireless communication network performs synchronization, interrupt of communication, or start of communication through a different channel as the control for preventing communication interference.

10. The interference preventing method according to claim 6, wherein the coexistence notification signal is transmitted based on a specification of the physical layer of frequency shifting keying (FSK), orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), and direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS).

An interference preventing method, which prevents communication interference between two or more wireless communication networks having mutually different physical layers, of a wireless communication network in which wireless communication is performed between a plurality of devices and a coordinator,

wherein, by using a coordinator of each one of the wireless communication networks, a scanning period for scanning a coexistence notification signal that is transmitted from a coordinator of another wireless communication network for a predetermined period is arranged immediately after input of power, the coexistence notification signal of the coordinator is sequentially transmitted at least at intervals, and, in a case where the coexistence notification signal transmitted from the coordinator of the another wireless communication network is acquired during the scanning period, control for preventing communication interference with the another wireless communication network is performed.
