Abstract

The present invention provides Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP55 KCTC 11401BP, a composition for treating bowel disease containing the lactobacillus, and a composition for immunological enhancement containing the lactobacillus.

1. Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP56 KCTC 11401BP.

2. A composition for prevention or treatment of enteropathy, comprising Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP56 KCTC 11401BP.

6. The composition of claim 2, characterized by being in a form of a medicine.

7. The composition of claim 2, characterized by being in a form of foods.

8. The composition of claim 2, characterized by being in a form of animal feeds or feed additives.

9. The composition of claim 2, characterized by being in a form of a cosmetic.

3. An immunopotentiating composition comprising Lactobacillus plantarum CJLP56 KCTC 11401BP.

4. The composition of claim 3, for preventing or treating an immune disease caused by a Th1/Th2 imbalance in favor of a Th2 shift.

5. The composition of claim 4, wherein the immune disease is selected from the group consisting of allergic diseases, atopy, cancer and autoimmune diseases.
