1. A computer system, comprising:
- a communications interface configured to communicate with a plurality of users via remotely located user devices;
processing electronics coupled to the communications interface and configured to collect bids for at least one of a good, service, and discount from the plurality of user devices;
wherein the processing electronics comprise a bidding module configured to determine winning bids and losing bids by comparing the bids to a floor price; and
wherein the bidding module is configured to determine whether the losing bids qualify for re-bidding by comparing the losing bids to a first merchant-established threshold difference from the floor price.
