Abstract

An integrated digitizer display is provided, which includes a Thin Film Transistor (TFT) substrate and a sensor electrode. A TFT and an organic light emitting layer are formed on a first surface of the TFT substrate, and the sensor electrode is formed on a second surface of the TFT substrate, where the second surface is opposite to the first surface.

Claims

1. An integrated digitizer display comprising:

a Thin Film Transistor (TFT) substrate, on a first surface of which a TFT and an organic light emitting layer are formed; and

a sensor electrode formed on a second surface of the TFT substrate, the second surface being opposite to the first surface.

2. The integrated digitizer display of claim 1, further comprising an Integrated Circuit (IC) disposed on the second surface of the TFT substrate for driving the digitizer.

3. The integrated digitizer display of claim 1, further comprising a Flexible Printed Circuit Board (FPCB) disposed on the second surface of the TFT substrate for being an external interface of the digitizer.

4. The integrated digitizer display of claim 1, further comprising a magnetic shield disposed under the sensor electrode.

5. The integrated digitizer display of claim 1, wherein the sensor electrode comprises:

a first electrode layer formed under the TFT substrate;

a first dielectric layer formed under the first electrode layer;

a second electrode layer formed under the first dielectric layer; and

a second dielectric layer formed under the second electrode layer.

6. The integrated digitizer display of claim 5, wherein first electrode layer comprises a coil electrode running in a first direction, and the second electrode layer comprises a coil electrode running in a second direction, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction.

7. The integrated digitizer display of claim 6, wherein the sensor electrode further comprises a contact hole formed in the first dielectric layer for forming a loop coil by connecting the coil electrodes of the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer.
