A method according to claim 34, wherein causing the first and second sheets to be forced apart comprises effecting movement of one of the first and second sheets relative to the other along a plane defined by the interlayer, thereby causing shearing in the interlayer, and wherein the movement along the plane is initiated before the movement transverse to the plane.
