1. One or more computer-readable storage media having embodied thereon computer-useable instructions which, when executed by a computing device, cause the computing device to perform a method for adaptively utilizing a clinical care room to facilitate caring for a patient, the method comprising:
- receiving an input indicating a code blue event has been initiated for the patient;
incident to receiving the input;
(A) notifying a clinical care team of the code blue event,(B) modifying one or more environmental conditions in the clinical care room to facilitate patient care,(C) automatically capturing clinical event information related to the clinical care room and the patient,(D) displaying a code blue care plan to the clinical care team, and(E) utilizing the clinical event information to adaptively update the code blue care plan.

Methods, computer systems, and computer readable media for transitioning a clinical care room from a first scene to a second scene in order to facilitate completion of a real-world activity are provided. The first scene in the clinical care room is presented where the clinical care room has one or more zones. The first scene is associated with a first group of setting for components within the one or more zones. An input corresponding to the real-world activity is received. Incident to receiving the input, the second scene is provided. The second scene is associated with a second group of settings for the components. The second group of setting is optimized to facilitate completion of the real-world activity.

receiving an input indicating the patient is experiencing the code blue event; incident to receiving the input indicating the code blue event; (A) notifying a code blue team of the code blue event, (B) modifying one or more environmental conditions in the clinical care room to facilitate patient care by adjusting room lighting and adjusting acoustic outputs in the clinical care room, (C) modifying one or more physical structures in the clinical care room to facilitate patient care by adjusting a position of a patient bed, (D) capturing event information related to the clinical care room and the patient, wherein the event information includes at least one of; a) a presence and position of members of the code blue team, b) a time at which clinical events occur, c) medications administered to the patient, d) lab results, and e) procedures performed on the patient, and (E) displaying a code blue care plan to the code blue team, (F) utilizing the event information to adaptively update the code blue care plan, and (G) displaying advice related to the next step in the code blue care plan.
