METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING TRANSMISSION OF POWER IN A POWER TRANSMISSION NETWORK
First Claim
1. A method of managing transmission of power in a power transmission network (TN), said power transmission network (TN) comprises:
- at least one power producer (PP),a utility grid (UG) comprising power transmissions lines (PTL) and substations (SUB),a plurality of power consumers (PC) consuming power produced by said at least one power producer (PP),said method comprising the steps of;
establishing a plurality of individual power consumer characteristics (PCC) providing information of at least a part of said plurality of power consumers (PC),by means of a central control arrangement (CCA) matching said plurality of individual power consumer characteristics (PCC) to establish one or more consumer groups (CG) of power consumers (PC) based on said matching,said established one or more consumer groups (CG) having a consumer group characteristic reflecting the expected consumer characteristic of said one or more consumer groups (CG), andby means of said central control arrangement (CCA) over time monitoring the power consumed by said one or more consumer groups (CG) to validate whether the power consumed applies with said consumer group characteristic.
