Abstract
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system; and more specially, to a method and apparatus for transmitting extended uplink acknowledgement information in a wireless communication system. A method for receiving uplink acknowledgement information from a base station according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: allocating a plurality of uplink acknowledgement transmission resources to each of at least one terminal; and receiving, by one uplink sub-frame, uplink acknowledgement information from the at least one terminal through at least one of the plurality of uplink acknowledgement transmission resources, wherein each of the plurality of uplink acknowledgement transmission resources is allocated, differently from each other, with at least one of the following: resource block (RB), a first cyclic shift (CS), a second CS, a first orthogonal spreading code (OC) and a second OC.

19. A method of receiving uplink (UL) acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information, which is received by a base station, comprising the steps of:

27. A method of transmitting uplink (UL) acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information, which is transmitted by a user equipment, comprising the steps of:

receiving allocation of a plurality of UL ACK/NACK transmission resources from a base station; and transmitting the UL ACK/NACK information using at least one of a plurality of the UL ACK/NACK transmission resources in a UL subframe to the base station, wherein at least one selected from the group consisting of a resource block (RB), a 1st cyclic shift (CS), a 2nd CS, a 1st orthogonal spreading code (OC) and a 2nd OC is differently allocated to each of a plurality of the UL ACK/NACK transmission resources.

28. A base station, which receives uplink (UL) acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information, comprising:

a transmitting module transmitting a downlink signal to at least one user equipment; a receiving module receiving an uplink signal from the at least one user equipment; and a processor controlling the base station including the receiving module and the transmitting module, the processor configured to allocate a plurality of UL ACK/NACK transmission resources to each of the at least one user equipment, the processor configured to receive the UL ACK/NACK information carried on at least one of a plurality of the UL ACK/NACK transmission resources in a UL subframe from the at least one user equipment via the receiving module, wherein at least one selected from the group consisting of a resource block (RB), a 1st cyclic shift (CS), a 2nd CS, a 1st orthogonal spreading code (OC) and a 2nd OC is differently allocated to each of a plurality of the UL ACK/NACK transmission resources.

29. A user equipment, which transmits uplink (UL) acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information, comprising:

a transmitting module transmitting an uplink signal to a base station; a receiving module receiving a downlink signal from the base station; and a processor controlling the user equipment including the receiving module and the transmitting module, the processor configured to receive allocation of a plurality of UL ACK/NACK transmission resources from the base station, the processor configured to transmit the UL ACK/NACK information via the transmitting module using at least one of a plurality of the UL ACK/NACK transmission resources in a UL subframe to the base station, wherein at least one selected from the group consisting of a resource block (RB), a 1st cyclic shift (CS), a 2nd CS, a 1st orthogonal spreading code (OC) and a 2nd OC is differently allocated to each of a plurality of the UL ACK/NACK transmission resources.
