1. A method of treating a femoro-popliteal artery of a patient, comprising:
- delivering a guidewire to a lesion in the femoro-popliteal artery;
advancing a stent delivery system over the guidewire to the lesion in the femoro-popliteal artery, the stent delivery system carrying a stent comprising a plurality of woven strands in a constrained configuration;
releasing the stent from the stent delivery system, wherein releasing the stent causes the plurality of woven strands to self-expand and apply a radial force to the femoro-popliteal artery, wherein the stent when fully expanded has a diameter that is greater than 110% of diameter of the femoro-popliteal artery being stented.
