Abstract

Analysis and graphical rendering of subscriber data is provided. A data analysis component is provided that obtains a set of subscriber data, correlates various subsets of the subscriber data to determine a plurality of data relationships, and graphical renders the subscriber data as a heat map, a fractal map, a tree map, a three dimensional plot, a three dimensional map, a graph, a chart, etc. based on a scale associated with the data relationships. In addition, the data analysis component can obtain a set of line number portability data that can be correlated with the various subsets of the subscriber data to determine the data relationships.

Claims

1. A method for subscriber data analysis, comprising:

obtaining a set of subscriber data;

generating a data relationship by correlating a first subset of the set of subscriber data and a second subset of the set of subscriber data;

determining a scale having an index value; and

displaying the data relationship based at least in part on the scale and the index value.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising obtaining a set of line number portability data.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the generating the data relationship includes correlating a third subset of subscriber data with a subset of the set of line number portability data.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein determining the scale having the index value comprises:

calculating a quantity of subscribers, having a first characteristic, in a first geographic granularity;

calculating a quantity of subscribers, having the first characteristic, in a second geographic granularity;

setting the index value based on a percentage of the quantity of subscribers, having the first characteristic, in the second geographic granularity compared to the quantity of subscribers, having the first characteristic, in the first geographic granularity.

5. The method of claim 4, further comprising selecting a geographic granularity that is higher on a geographic granularity hierarchy than the second geographic granularity for the first geographic granularity.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein displaying the data relationship comprises displaying the data relationship as a heat map.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein displaying the data relationship comprises determining that a value of the data relationship is within a predetermined range of the index value, and in response to the value of the data relationship being within the predetermined range, displaying a graphical representation associated with the predetermined range.

8. The method of claim 1, further comprising obtaining a display criteria, and displaying the data relationship based at least in part on the display criteria.

9. The method of claim 8, further comprising determining an additional data relationship based on the display criteria, and displaying the additional data relationship.

10. A system for analyzing subscriber data, comprising:

an interface component configured to obtain a set of subscriber data;

a correlation component configured to evaluate at least a first subset of the set of subscriber data, and to generate a set of analysis data based at least in part on the evaluation; and

a display component configured to graphically render the set of analysis data.

11. The system of claim 10, wherein the interface component is further configured to obtain a set of portability data.

12. The system of claim 11, wherein the correlation component is further configured to evaluate a first subset of the set of portability data, and generate the set of analysis data based at least in part on the evaluation of the set of portability data.

13. The system of claim 10, wherein the correlation component includes a scale component configured to determine an index value for the set of analysis data.

14. The system of claim 13, wherein the scale component is further configured to:

determine an amount of subscribers, having a characteristic, at a first geographic granularity level,

determine an amount of subscribers, having the characteristic, at a second geographic granularity level, and

set the index value based on a percentage of the amount of subscribers, having the characteristic, at the second geographic granularity level compared to the amount of subscribers, having the characteristic, at the first geographic granularity level.

15. The system of claim 14, wherein the first geographic granularity level is higher than the second geographic granularity level on a geographic granularity level hierarchy.

16. The system of claim 10, wherein the display component is further configured to graphically render the analysis data as a heat map.

17. The system of claim 10, wherein the correlation component is included in an electronic device, and the subscriber data is obtained by the electronic device via a network connection.

18. A method for subscriber data analysis, comprising:

obtaining a subscriber data;

obtaining a line number portability data;

generating an analysis data by associating the subscriber data and the line number portability data;

determining an index value for the analysis data; and

displaying the analysis data based at least in part on the index value.

19. The method of claim 18, wherein determining the index value comprises:

quantifying a number of subscribers, having a set of characteristics, at a first location,

quantifying a number of subscribers, having the set of characteristics, at a second location included in the first location, and

controlling the index value based on the number of subscribers, having the set of characteristics, at a second location divided by the number of subscribers, having the set of characteristics, at the first location.

20. The method of claim 19, wherein displaying the analysis data based at least in part on the index value comprises determining that the value of the analysis data is within a predetermined range of the index value, and in response to the value of the analysis data being within the predetermined range, displaying a graphical representation associated with the predetermined range.
