1. A method comprising:

  • determining a first incentive reward that is to be provided based on a first number transgressing a first threshold, the first number being how many members of a group of users each complete a location-based action a first number of times;

    determining a magnitude of the first incentive reward;

    determining, using a processor, a second incentive reward that is to be provided based on a second number transgressing a second threshold, the second number being how many members of the group of users each complete the location-based action a second number of times;

    choosing a magnitude of the second incentive reward such that the magnitude of the second incentive reward in comparison to the magnitude the first incentive reward is proportional to the first number of times in comparison to the second number of times; and

    notifying the group of users of the first incentive reward and the second incentive reward.
