a device comprising a vent; a fluid line fluidly connected to the device; a pressure sensor configured to measure pressure of fluid within the fluid line; and a control unit connected to the pressure sensor, wherein the control unit is configured to determine whether the device is functioning properly based on a measured pressure of fluid within the fluid line when vacuum pressure is applied to the device.
