Abstract

An audio player includes a storage unit storing music type modes and audio files; an input device provided for selecting an automatic switching mode of the audio player; a detection circuit sampling noise of the current environment and generating a detection signal according to the noise of the current environment; a processor performing the automatic switching mode by selecting one of the music type modes according to the detection signal and finding one or more of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode; and an output device outputting data of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode.

Claims

1. An audio player comprising:

a storage unit configured to store a plurality of music type modes and a plurality of audio files;

an input device provided for selecting an automatic switching mode of the audio player;

a detection circuit configured to sample noise of the current environment and generate a detection signal;

a processor configured to perform the automatic switching mode by selecting one of the music type modes according to the detection signal and finding one or more of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode; and

an output device configured to output data of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode.

2. The audio player of claim 1, wherein the storage unit comprises a look up table (LUT) recording first relationships between look-up control signals output from the processor and the music type modes, the look up table further recording second relationships between the music type modes and the identities of the audio files.

3. The audio player of claim 2, wherein the storage unit is further configured to store reference values cooperatively representing a reference waveform.

4. The audio player of claim 3, wherein the processor comprises a comparator, the comparator configured to compare the detection signal and the reference values, and generate a comparison result.

The audio player of claim 4, wherein the processor further comprises a controller, the controller configured to select one of the music type modes according to the comparison result, and search and determine whether the audio files stored in the storage unit comprise one or more of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode.

The audio player of claim 5, wherein the processor further comprises a decoder, the controller further configured to output data of the audio files corresponding to the selected music type mode to the decoder, and the decoder configured to decode the data of the audio files, generate a decode signal, and send the decode signal to the output device.

7. The audio player of claim 1, wherein the identities of the audio files are based on one or more items selected from the group consisting of genres, rhythms and tempos of the audio files.

8. The audio player of claim 4, wherein the comparator is further configured to analyze magnitude and variation rate of the detection signal cooperatively representing a waveform of the detection signal, and to compare the waveform of the detection signal with the reference waveform.

9. The audio player of claim 1, wherein the input device is further provided for the user to distribute the audio files to the music type modes according to the identities of the audio files.

10. The audio player of claim 9, wherein the processor is further configured to determine whether the selected music type mode has corresponding audio files distributed therein.

11. An operating method of an audio player, the audio player comprising a storage unit configured to store a plurality of music type modes, an input device, a detection circuit, a processor and an output device, the method comprising:

storing a plurality of audio files in the storage unit;

switching to an automatic switching mode of the audio player via the input device;

sampling noise of a current environment of the audio player and generating a detection signal by the detection circuit;

selecting one of the music type modes according to the detection signal by the processor;

finding one or more of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode by the processor; and

outputting data of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode by the output device.

12. The operating method of claim 11, wherein finding one or more of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode comprises determining whether the audio files comprise one or more audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode.

13. The operating method of claim 12, wherein determining whether the audio files comprise one or more audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode comprises determining whether a first one of the audio files has an identity corresponding to the selected music type mode;

and in the event that the first audio file has an identity corresponding to the selected music type mode, decoding data of the first audio file and outputting the data; and

in the event that the first audio file does not have an identity corresponding to the selected music type mode, determining whether a next one of the audio files has an identity corresponding to the selected music type mode.

14. The operating method of claim 11, further comprising distributing audio files to the music type modes according to the identities of the audio files before finding one or more of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode.

The operating method of claim 14, further comprising determining whether the selected music type mode has any corresponding audio file distributed therein, wherein in the event that the selected music type mode has one or more corresponding audio files distributed therein, the method further comprises decoding data of the corresponding audio files and outputting one or more audio signals according to the decoded data;

and in the event that the selected music type mode does not have any corresponding audio file distributed therein, the method further comprises determining whether identities of audio files stored in the storage unit correspond to the selected music type mode.

16. The operating method of claim 12, wherein the detection signal comprises a magnitude and a variation rate, which cooperatively represent a waveform of the detection signal;

and selecting one of the music type modes according to the detection signal comprises analyzing the detection signal to obtain a first and a second detection values respectively corresponding to the magnitude and variation rate.

17. The operating method of claim 16, further comprising storing a first reference value and a second reference value in the storage unit before selecting one of the music type modes according to the detection signal, the first and second reference values cooperatively representing a reference waveform;

wherein selecting one of the music type modes according to the detection signal further comprises comparing the first and second detection values with the first and second reference values, respectively.

18. The operating method of claim 17, wherein selecting one of the music type modes according to the detection signal further comprises:

in the event that the first detection value is less than the first reference value and the second detection value is less than the second reference value, selecting a first music type mode corresponding to a very quiet environment;

in the event that the first detection value is more than the first reference value and the second detection value is less than the second reference value, selecting a second music type mode corresponding to a moderately quiet environment;

in the event that the first detection value is less than the first reference value and the second detection value is more than the second reference value, selecting a third music type mode corresponding to a moderately noisy environment; and

in the event that the first detection value is more than the first reference value and the second detection value is more than the second reference value, selecting a fourth music type mode corresponding to a very noisy environment.

19. The operating method of claim 11, wherein the identities of the audio files are based on one or more items selected from the group consisting of genres, rhythms and tempos of the audio files.

20. The operating method of claim 11, wherein in the event that one or more of the audio files having identities corresponding to the selected music type mode are found, data of the found one or more audio files are output;

and in the event that no audio file having an identity corresponding to the selected music type mode is found, the method further comprises making the audio player operate in a standby state.
