1. A gate structure for selectively blocking a moving object from accessing a restricted area, comprisinga gate control housing;
- a gate member movably extended from said gate control housing for selectively opening and closing said gate structure; and
a control system, which comprises;
a first connector which is provided at said gate control housing, and comprises a signal receiving module; and
at least one second connector which is detachably attached on said moving object, and comprises a signal generating module provided, thereon, wherein said first connector and said second connector are communicated through a predetermined radio frequency signal having a predetermined frequency, wherein said signal generating module of said second connector is arranged to automatically and periodically generate a connecting signal at said predetermined frequency, wherein said gate member is operated between a closing position and an opening position, wherein in said closing position, a distance between said first and said second connector is larger than a preset connecting distance and said gate member is closed for blocking access to said restricted area, wherein in said opening position, a distance between said first connector and said second connector is within said preset connecting distance and said gate member is actuated to move for allowing access to said restricted by said moving object bearing said first connector, so that said gate structure is opened before said moving object arrives at said gate structure without requiring manual actuation of said second connector.

Abstract
A gate structure includes a gate control housing, a gate member and a control system. The control system includes a first and a second connector. The second connector is detachably attached on the moving object, and includes a signal generating module. The first connector and the second connector are communicated through a predetermined radio frequency signal. The gate member is operated between a closing position and an opening position, wherein in the closing position, a distance between the first and the second connector is larger than a preset connecting distance and the gate member is closed for blocking access to the restricted area, wherein in the opening position, a distance between the first connector and the second connector is within the preset connecting distance and the gate member is actuated to move for allowing access to the restricted area by the moving object bearing the first connector.

9. A control system for a gate structure comprising a gate control housing and a gate member movably extended from said gate control housing for selectively opening and closing said gate structure, wherein said control system comprises:

17. A method of operating a gate structure comprising a gate control housing and a gate member movably extended from said gate control housing for selectively opening and closing said gate structure, wherein said method comprises the steps of:

(a) providing a first connector in said gate control housing, wherein said first connector comprises a signal receiving module; (b) providing at least one second connector in a moving object, wherein said second connector is arranged to periodically and automatically send a connecting signal at said predetermined frequency to signal receiving module of said first connector; (c) receiving said connecting signal sent by said first connector when said moving object moves within a predetermined connecting distance; (d) actuating said gate member to open said gate structure for a preset period of time when said first connector receives said connecting signal so that said gate structure is opened before said moving object arrives at said gate structure without requiring manual actuation of said second connector; and (e) actuating said gate structure to a closing position when said connecting signal is not received. - View Dependent Claims (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27)
