Abstract

A content changeable system for navigable venues includes (i) a software application folder for storage at a software application storage area, the software application folder including a plurality of software applications, each software application individually downloadable to a user'"'"'s communication and data transfer device (“cdd”), each software application corresponding to a venue that can be physically navigated by the user, each application including at least one changeable content corresponding to a content station of the venue; and (ii) at least one server computer server configured to (a) upload the software applications to the software application storage area; and (b) receive information from at least one of the venues indicating that a particular changeable content corresponding to a particular content station of the at least one venue needs to be changed.

Claims

1. A content changeable system for navigable venues comprising:

a software application folder for storage at a software application storage area, the software application folder including a plurality of software applications, each software application individually downloadable to a user'"'"'s communication and data transfer device (“

cdd”

), each software application corresponding to a venue that can be physically navigated by the user, each application including at least one changeable content corresponding to a content station of the venue; and

at least one computer server configured to;

(i) upload the software applications to the software application storage area; and

(ii) receive information from at least one of the venues indicating that a particular changeable content corresponding to a particular content station of the at least one venue needs to be changed.

2. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein the folder is a primary folder and includes a plurality of secondary folders, each secondary folder storing a plurality of applications for venues of a common type.

3. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein each application includes a map of the corresponding venue, and wherein the map and the at least one changeable venue are stored at the application storage area.

4. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein each application includes a map of the corresponding venue, and wherein the at least one changeable venue is stored at a separate cloud server.

5. The content changeable system of claim 4, wherein the map is stored at the application storage area.

6. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein each application includes a map, and wherein the map includes means for orienting the user at the corresponding venue.

7. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein being configured to upload the software applications to the software application storage area includes being configured to upload at least one of the software applications an initial time.

8. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein being configured to upload the software applications to the software application storage area includes being configured to reload at least one of the software applications.

9. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein being configured to reload the software applications includes being configured to update, add or subtract at least one content associated with at least one of the software applications.

10. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein the changeable content includes an audio, visual or audiovisual file.

11. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein being configured to receive information from at least one of the venues indicating that a particular changeable content corresponding to a particular content station of the at least one venue needs to be changed includes being configured to receive a content file from the at least one venue.

The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein being configured to receive information from at least one of the venues indicating that a particular changeable content corresponding to a particular content station of the at least one venue needs to be changed includes being configured to receive a request to produce a content file based on verbiage provided by the at least one venue.

The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein being configured to receive information from at least one of the venues indicating that a particular changeable content corresponding to a particular content station of the at least one venue needs to be changed includes being configured to receive a request to produce verbiage and an associated content file from the at least one venue.

14. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein the server is part of an application service provider, which includes apparatus in communication with the server for at least one of (i) creating the applications, or (ii) changing the changeable content.

15. The content changeable system of claim 1, wherein the software applications are configured such that the changeable content can be performed on the user'"'"'s cdd even if the user is not at the corresponding venue.

16. A method for changing a downloadable software application comprising:

storing a software application downloadable to a user'"'"'s communication and data transfer device (“

cdd”

) at a software application storage area, the software application corresponding to a venue that can be physically navigated by the user, the application including at least one changeable content corresponding to a content station of the venue;

receiving information from at least one of the venues indicating that a particular changeable content corresponding to a particular content station of the at least one venue needs to be changed; and

changing the content accordingly.

17. The method of claim 16, wherein changing the content includes recording new content.

18. The method of claim 16, wherein changing the content includes creating new content.

19. A navigational system comprising:

a sender communication and data transfer device (“

cdd”

);

a receiver cdd;

a first cellular service having a first global positioning satellite (“

GPS”

) or multi-tower calculator (“

MTC”

) operating with the sender cdd;

a second cellular service having a second GPS or MTC operating with receiver cdd; and

an application server in operable communication with the first cellular service and the second cellular service, the application server including processing and memory operating with software programmed to enable a navigational route to be initiated by a user operating the sender cdd and, in cooperation with the first and second cellular services, generate and send the route to the receiver'"'"'s cdd, wherein the route is selected from multiple route options, at least one of the route options using a location obtained by one of the first and second GPS'"'"'s or MTC'"'"'s.

20. A navigational system comprising:

a sender communication and data transfer device (“

cdd”

);

a receiver cdd;

a cellular service having a global positioning satellite (“

GPS”

) or multi-tower calculator (“

MTC”

) operating with the sender cdd and the receiver cdd; and

an application server in operable communication with the cellular service, the application server including processing and memory operating with software programmed to enable a navigational route to be initiated by a user operating the sender cdd and, in cooperation with the cellular service, generate and send the route to the receiver'"'"'s cdd, wherein the route is selected from multiple route options, at least one of the route options using a location obtained by the GPS or MTC.
