1. A occupant support in a vehicle comprising a base and a support structure for a child comprising a sub-base, wherein the sub-base is slidably attached to the base along curvilinear slides with attachment means there between at different angular positions of the subbase relative to the base thereby enabling different orientations of the child with a fixed orientation of the base.

A occupant support in a vehicle supported on a plurality of lateral slides with a first part and a second part each with sliding surfaces upon each other, adapted to eject an occupant for egress and ingress with a drive mechanism attached at one end to the first part and the occupant support attached to the second part either directly or indirectly thereby sliding the occupant support in or out of the vehicle laterally.

7. A occupant support in a vehicle wherein the occupant is supported by a plurality of chambers filled with a viscous fluid and interconnected thereby enabling measured volumes of fluid to flow between said chambers at given differential pressures, such that under normal operating conditions the fluid redistributes among the chambers to provide comfort to the occupant by contouring to the body, but under impact conditions provides firm support benefiting from the viscous nature of the fluid thereby distributing the load about the surface of the occupant.
