A line filter for a switching power supply, the switching power supply including a rectifier unit configured to rectify an AC voltage, a transformer configured to transform the voltage rectified by the rectifier unit to output a resultant voltage, a switching unit configured to drive the transformer, and a radiation unit configured to radiate heat generated during operation of the switching unit, the line filter comprising:
- a capacitive element connected between voltage supply lines to which the rectifier unit and the transformer are connected; and
a current path configured to allow a noise current to flow between the transformer and the capacitive element.
