Abstract
One embodiment provides a method of using contextual lighting to assist a user of a medical fluid injection system. In this embodiment, the method includes providing a lighted display in proximity to a component of the injection system during setup of the medical fluid injection system. If the user has properly performed a setup function that is associated with the component of the injection system, the method further comprises providing a first visual indication on the lighted display. If the user has not properly performed the setup function that is associated with the component of the injection system, the method further comprises providing a second visual indication on the lighted display.

15. A disposable fluid connector to be used with a powered injector that injects medical fluid into a patient, the disposable fluid connector comprising:
- a first tubing component having proximal and distal ends, the proximal end to be operatively coupled to an output of a first pressurizing unit of the powered injector, and the distal end to be operatively coupled to a patient line;
a second tubing component having proximal and distal ends, the proximal end of the second tubing component to be operatively coupled to an output of a second pressurizing unit of the powered injector, and the distal end of the second tubing component to be operatively coupled to the patient line; and
a member that is non-removably attached to both the first tubing component and the second tubing component, wherein the disposable fluid connector is a single-use connector that is coupled as one assembly to the powered injector before a patient injection procedure and is discarded upon completion of the procedure. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
