A piston head (1) with a body (7), said piston head having a fluid-contact end (4) and a drive end (5) and comprising a resilient sealing skirt (6) arranged to provide sealing abutment against the inner wall (9) of a cylinder (3) when said piston head is inserted in said cylinder, wherein the resilient sealing skirt is biased in the sealing direction by a radially biasing element (8).
