Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method and a device for creating an MO instance in the management tree of a terminal device. In the method, a processor in the device adds the node value to an unnamed node or a specified node of the unnamed node in the MO of the management tree in the terminal device. The processor sets the node value of the specified node under the unnamed node as the name of the unnamed node. The specified node is a sub-node of the unnamed node or a node from other MOs.

Claims

1. A method for creating a management object (MO) instance in a management tree of a terminal device, comprising:

adding a node value to a specified node under a unnamed node in a MO of the management tree in the terminal device;

setting the node value of the specified node under the unnamed node as the name of the unnamed node;

wherein the specified node is a sub-node of the unnamed node or a node from other MOs.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein setting the node value of the specified node under the unnamed node as the name of the unnamed node further comprises:

replacing the node value of the specified node with preset characters if the node value of the specified node comprises special symbols; and

setting the replaced node value of the specified node as the name of the unnamed node.

3. The method according to claim 1, wherein setting the node value of the specified node under the unnamed node as the name of the unnamed node further comprises

truncating part of the characters of the node value of the specified node if the length of the node value of the specified node exceeds a threshold;

and

setting the truncated node value of the specified node as the name of the unnamed node.

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the method is implemented by a server or the terminal device.

5. A communications device, comprising one or more processors and a non-transitory memory storage accessible to the one or more processors;

wherein the non-transitory memory stores a set of instructions to be executed by the one or more processors, the set of instructions comprising;

adding a node value to a specified node under a unnamed node in a MO of the management tree in the terminal device; and

setting the node value of the specified node under the unnamed node as the name of the unnamed node;

wherein the specified node is a sub-node of the unnamed node or a node from other MOs.

6. The communications device according to claim 5, wherein the instructions for setting the node value of the specified node under the unnamed node as the name of the unnamed node further comprises:

replacing the node value of the specified node with preset characters if the node value of the specified node comprises special symbols; and

setting the replaced node value of the specified node as the name of the unnamed node.

7. The communications device according to claim 5, wherein the instructions for setting the node value of the specified node under the unnamed node as the name of the unnamed node further comprises:

truncating part of the characters of the node value of the specified node if the length of the node value of the specified node exceeds a threshold; and

setting the truncated node value of the specified node as the name of the unnamed node.

8. The communications device according to claim 5, wherein the communications device is a server or the terminal device.
