1. A method for organizing search results within an electronic programming guide of a television programming device, the method comprising:

  • receiving, by the television programming device, a search string, wherein the search string comprises information related to television programming;

    searching, by the television programming device, a set of television programming information stored by a storage device local to the television programming device using the search string;

    identifying, by the television programming device, a first search result and a second search result, wherein each of the first search result and the second search result comprises a television channel, a time, and a television program;

    selecting, by the television programming device, a first color at least partially based on a first relationship between the search string and the first search result;

    selecting, by the television programming device, a second color at least partially based on a second relationship between the search string and the second search result, wherein the second relationship is different from the first relationship; and

    outputting from TV device to a presentation device, by the television programming device, via a display, the first search result displayed with the first color and the second search result displayed with the second color.
