1. In the selection method of satellites for RTK positioning calculation via the elevation mask which chooses a satellite according to the elevation angle of a satellite, and/or the signal strength mask which chooses a satellite with the signal strength of a satellite comprising:
- (a) the mask threshold of said elevation mask and/or the mask threshold of said signal strength mask are initialized,(b) the 1st mask threshold different from the initialized mask threshold is set up to either said elevation mask or said signal strength mask,(c) the 1st RTK positioning calculation is performed based on the signal from the satellite chosen via said initialized mask threshold,(d) the 1st quality check is performed about the positioning solution in this 1st RTK positioning calculation,(e) when the decision result by this 1st quality check is good, the positioning solution in said 1st RTK positioning calculation is a high precision positioning solution,(f) when the decision result by said 1st quality check is bad, threshold for the mask that 1st mask threshold is set up to, is changed from initialized mask threshold to 1st mask threshold,(g) the 2nd RTK positioning calculation is performed based on the signal from the satellite newly chosen via said 1st mask threshold,(h) the 2nd quality check is performed about the positioning solution in this 2nd RTK positioning calculation,(i) when the decision result by this 2nd quality check is good, a positioning solution in said 2nd RTK positioning calculation is taken as a high precision positioning solution.

Abstract
A use for real-time in RTK positioning is provided, which raises the capacity factor of high precision positioning time. The mask threshold of either an elevation angle mask or signal strength mask is initialized. The satellite signal chosen via this mask threshold performs RTK positioning calculation. The quality check of this positioning solution is performed. When a decision result is good, this positioning solution turns into a high precision positioning solution. When a decision result is bad, other mask thresholds are changed from an initial value. The satellite signal newly chosen via this changed mask threshold performs RTK positioning calculation. The quality check of this positioning solution is performed. When a decision result is good, this positioning solution turns into a high precision positioning solution. A quality check is performed by the Ratio test and a satellite signal also chooses a GLONASS signal automatically with a GPS signal.

(a) a means to initialize the mask threshold of said elevation mask, and/or the mask threshold of said signal strength mask, (b) a means to set up the 1st different mask threshold from a mask threshold which initialized a mask threshold of either said elevation mask or said signal strength mask, (c) the RTK positioning calculation part which calculates a positioning solution based on the signal (observational data) from the satellite chosen via said initialized mask threshold, (d) the quality checking means of said positioning solution, (e) a means to change a mask threshold of either said elevation mask or said signal strength mask into said 1st mask threshold when a decision result by said quality checking means is bad. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11, 12)
