Abstract

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for transmitting control information through a PUCCH in a wireless communication system and an apparatus therefore including the steps of: generating the control information; selecting a particular PUCCH format from a plurality of PUCCH formats; and transmitting the control information through the particular PUCCH format.

Claims

1. A method for allowing a user equipment (UE) to transmit control information over a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

generating the control information;

selecting a specific PUCCH format from a plurality of PUCCH formats; and

transmitting the control information through the specific PUCCH format.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the specific PUCCH format is indicated through higher layer signaling.

3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the specific PUCCH format is selected on the basis of the number of component carriers (CCs) configured for the user equipment (UE).

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the specific PUCCH format is selected on the basis of the number of bits of the control information.

5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the control information includes at least two kinds of control information, and the specific PUCCH format is selected on the basis of a control information combination constructing the control information.

6. A user equipment (UE) configured to transmit control information through a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in a wireless communication system comprising:

a radio frequency (RF) unit; and

a processor,

wherein the processor generates the control information, selects a specific PUCCH format from a plurality of PUCCH formats, and transmits the control information through the specific PUCCH format.

7. The user equipment (UE) according to claim 6, wherein the specific PUCCH format is indicated through higher layer signaling.

8. The user equipment (UE) according to claim 6, wherein the specific PUCCH format is selected on the basis of the number of component carriers (CCs) configured for the user equipment (UE).

9. The user equipment (UE) according to claim 6, wherein the specific PUCCH format is selected on the basis of the number of bits of the control information.

10. The user equipment (UE) according to claim 6, wherein the control information includes at least two kinds of control information, and the specific PUCCH format is selected on the basis of a control information combination constructing the control information.
