Abstract

A mobile device for executing multiple applications is provided. The mobile device includes a touch screen for displaying a first window where a first application is executed, a second window where a second application different from the first application is executed, and a controller for displaying an execution keys for executing the multiple applications, determining whether a simultaneous execution input for the first application and the second application is input or not, and if the simultaneous execution input is input then displaying the first application on the first window and the second application on the second window.

Claims

1. A mobile device for executing multiple applications, the mobile device comprising:

a touch screen for displaying a first window where a first application is executed, a second window where a second application different from the first application is executed; and

a controller for displaying an execution keys for executing the multiple applications, determining whether a simultaneous execution input for the first application and the second application is input or not, and if the simultaneous execution input is input then displaying the first application on the first window and the second application on the second window.

2. The mobile device of claim 1, the controller determines the simultaneous execution input is input when an execute key for the first application and an execute key for the second application is executed within a predetermined time.

3. The mobile device of claim 1, the controller determines the simultaneous execution input is input when a drag from an execute key for the first application to an execute key for the second application is detected.

4. The mobile device of claim 1, the controller displays a third application on the first window and a fourth application on the second window based on a switching input for switching the first application and the second application to others.

5. The mobile device of claim 4, wherein the switching input is a simultaneous execution input for an execution key for the third application and an execution key for the fourth application.

6. The mobile device of claim 5, the controller displays the execution key for the third application and the execution key for the fourth application on application panel which is displayed on a portion of the touch screen.

7. The mobile device of claim 6, when number of application panel is at least two, the controller displays the application panel be overlapped to each other.

8. The mobile device of claim 6, the controller changes a position of the application panel based on at least one of position of the application changing input.

9. The mobile device of claim 8, at least one of position of the application changing input is touch and drop gesture for the application panel.

10. A mobile device for executing multiple applications, the mobile device comprising:

a touch screen for comprising divided regions for displaying different applications not be overlapped to each other; and

a controller for displaying a plurality of execution keys for executing corresponding application, and when simultaneous execution input corresponding to the different applications is input displaying each of the different applications on each of the divided regions respectively.

11. A method for controlling mobile device having a touch screen for displaying a first window where a first application is executed, a second window where a second application different from the first application is executed, the method comprising:

displaying an execution keys for executing multiple applications comprising the first application and the second application;

determining whether a simultaneous execution input for the first application and the second application is input or not; and

if the simultaneous execution input is input then displaying the first application on the first window and the second application on the second window.

12. The method of claim 11, the determining whether the simultaneous execution input is input determines the simultaneous execution input is input when an execute key for the first application and an execute key for the second application is executed within a predetermined time.

13. The method of claim 11, the determining whether the simultaneous execution input is input determines the simultaneous execution input is input when a drag from an execute key for the first application to an execute key for the second application is detected.

14. The method of claim 11, further comprising:

inputting a switching input for switching the first application and the second application to others; and

displaying a third application on the first window and a fourth application on the second window based on the switching input.

15. The method of claim 14, wherein the switching input is a simultaneous execution input for an execution key for the third application and an execution key for the fourth application.

16. The method of claim 15, further comprising controlling the execution key for the third application and the execution key for the fourth application on application panel which is displayed on a portion of the touch screen.

17. The method of claim 16, when number of application panel is at least two, the controller displays the application panel be overlapped to each other.

18. The method of claim 16, further comprising:

inputting at least one of position of the application changing input; and

changing a position of the application panel based on the at least one of position of the application changing input.

19. The method of claim 18, at least one of position of the application changing input is touch and drop gesture for the application panel.

20. A method for controlling a mobile device comprising a touch screen having divided regions for displaying different applications not be overlapped to each other, the method comprising:

displaying a plurality of execution keys for executing corresponding application; and

when simultaneous execution input corresponding to the different applications is input, displaying each of the different applications on each of the divided regions respectively.
