1. A method, comprising:
- performing, by a computer;
determining a minimum resolution for a visual manipulation tool in a graphical user interface, wherein the minimum resolution is determined dependent on user input received in the graphical user interface of an application in which the visual manipulation tool is used, wherein the visual manipulation tool comprises a selection area displayed over the image, wherein a size of the selection area indicates a portion of the image to be manipulated by the visual manipulation tool;
monitoring the size of the selection area during usage of the visual manipulation tool; and
in response to the size of the selection area reaching a minimum size based on the minimum resolution, interrupting the usage of the visual manipulation tool.

9. A method, comprising:
performing, by a computer; determining a first minimum dimension for a crop tool in a graphical user interface, wherein the first minimum dimension is determined dependent on user input received in the same graphical user interface in which the crop tool is being used; determining a second minimum dimension for the crop tool in the graphical user interface, wherein the second minimum dimension is determined dependent on user input received in the same graphical user interface in which the crop tool is being used; wherein the first minimum dimension and the second minimum dimension are alterable via the user input while the crop tool is being used to manipulate the image; wherein the crop tool comprises a selection area displayed over the image, wherein a size of the selection area of the crop tool indicates a portion of the image to be manipulated by the crop tool monitoring the size of the selection area during usage of the crop tool; and in response to the size of the selection area reaching a minimum size based on at least one of the first minimum dimension or the second minimum dimension, interrupting the usage of the crop tool. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11, 12)
