Abstract

An electronic apparatus includes a first power receiving unit that wirelessly receives power from a power supply apparatus, and a control unit that supplies, to the power supply apparatus, data for controlling supply of power from the power supply apparatus according to a mode of the electronic apparatus.

Claims

1. An electronic apparatus comprising:

a first power receiving unit that wirelessly receives power from a power supply apparatus; and

a control unit that supplies, to the power supply apparatus, control data for controlling supply of power from the power supply apparatus based on a mode of the electronic apparatus.

2. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, if the electronic apparatus is in a predetermined mode, the control unit supplies, to the power supply apparatus, control data for controlling the power supply apparatus to stop supplying power.

3. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, if the electronic apparatus is in a predetermined mode, the control unit supplies, to the power supply apparatus, control data for changing a resonance frequency of the power supply apparatus.

4. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, if the electronic apparatus is in a predetermined mode, the control unit supplies, to the power supply apparatus, control data for changing a driving current of the power supply apparatus.

5. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, if the electronic apparatus is not in a predetermined mode, the control unit supplies, to the power supply apparatus, control data for controlling the power supply apparatus so as to increase power for supplying the electronic apparatus.

6. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, if the electronic apparatus is not in the predetermined mode, the control unit supplies, to the power supply apparatus, control data for controlling the power supply apparatus so as to increase power for supplying the electronic apparatus.

7. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the control unit supplies again, to the power supply apparatus, control data for controlling supply of power from the power supply apparatus based on the mode of the electronic apparatus if the mode of the electronic apparatus is changed.

8. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, if the electronic apparatus and an external apparatus are connected, the control unit supplies, to the power supply apparatus, control data for controlling the power supply apparatus to increase power for supplying the electronic apparatus, and wherein the external apparatus includes a second power receiving unit that wirelessly receives power from the power supply apparatus.

The electronic apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the control unit selects one of the first power receiving unit and the second power receiving unit if the electronic apparatus and the external apparatus are connected, and the control unit performs a predetermined process based on power received using a selected power receiving unit.

The electronic apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the control unit supplies again, to the power supply apparatus, control data for controlling supply of power from the power supply apparatus based on the mode of the electronic apparatus if the electronic apparatus and the external apparatus are disconnected.

11. The electronic apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the predetermined process includes a process for charging a battery connected to the electronic apparatus.

12. The electronic apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the predetermined process includes a playback process.

13. The electronic apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the predetermined process includes a shooting process.

14. The electronic apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the predetermined process includes a direction detecting process.

15. A method for controlling an electronic apparatus, the method comprising:

wirelessly receiving power from a power supply apparatus; and

supplying, to the power supply apparatus, control data for controlling supply of power from the power supply apparatus based on a mode of the electronic apparatus.

16. A computer readable storage medium which stores a program that causes a computer to execute a method for controlling an electronic apparatus, the method comprising:

wirelessly receiving power from a power supply apparatus; and

supplying, to the power supply apparatus, control data for controlling supply of power from the power supply apparatus based on a mode of the electronic apparatus.
