Abstract

Disclosed herein are example embodiments for behavioral fingerprinting via social networking interaction. For certain example embodiments, at least one indication of family relation for at least one authorized user may be obtained via at least one social networking interaction, and the at least one indication of family relation may be incorporated into at least one behavioral fingerprint that is associated with the at least one authorized user, the at least one behavioral fingerprint including one or more indicators of utilization of one or more user devices by the at least one authorized user.

Claims

1. A method for behavioral fingerprinting via social networking interaction, the method being at least partially implemented by a device, the method comprising:

obtaining at least one indication of family relation for at least one authorized user via at least one social networking interaction; and

incorporating the at least one indication of family relation into at least one behavioral fingerprint that is associated with the at least one authorized user, the at least one behavioral fingerprint including one or more indicators of utilization of one or more user devices by the at least one authorized user.

67. A system for behavioral fingerprinting via social networking interaction, the system comprising:

means for obtaining at least one indication of family relation for at least one authorized user via at least one social networking interaction; and

means for incorporating the at least one indication of family relation into at least one behavioral fingerprint that is associated with the at least one authorized user, the at least one behavioral fingerprint including one or more indicators of utilization of one or more user devices by the at least one authorized user.

133. A device for behavioral fingerprinting via social networking interaction, the device comprising:

circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of family relation for at least one authorized user via at least one social networking interaction; and

circuitry for incorporating the at least one indication of family relation into at least one behavioral fingerprint that is associated with the at least one authorized user, the at least one behavioral fingerprint including one or more indicators of utilization of one or more user devices by the at least one authorized user.

134. The device of claim 133, wherein the circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of family relation for at least one authorized user via at least one social networking interaction comprises:

circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of a legal family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social network interaction.

135. The device of claim 134, wherein the circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of a legal family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social network interaction comprises:

circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of a spousal family relationship for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social network interaction.

136. The device of claim 133, wherein the circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of family relation for at least one authorized user via at least one social networking interaction comprises:

circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of a biological family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social network interaction.

137. The device of claim 136, wherein the circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of a biological family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social network interaction comprises:

circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of a parent-child family relationship for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social network interaction.

138. The device of claim 133, wherein the circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of family relation for at least one authorized user via at least one social networking interaction comprises:

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network.

139. The device of claim 138, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network comprises:

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user from the at least one social network from profile data that is associated with an account for the at least one authorized user with the at least one social network.

The device of claim 139, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user from the at least one social network from profile data that is associated with an account for the at least one authorized user with the at least one social network comprises:

circuitry for retrieving at least a portion of the profile data that is associated with the account for the at least one authorized user with the at least one social network via submission of at least one credential of the authorized user.

142. The device of claim 138, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network comprises:

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user from the at least one social network via an application programming interface (API) that is exposed by the at least one social network to enable retrieval of family relation indications.

143. The device of claim 138, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network comprises:

circuitry for retrieving the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user from at least a portion of one or more servers operated by or for the at least one social network.

144. The device of claim 138, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network comprises:

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user from the at least one social network using at least a portion of login data associated with the at least one authorized user.

145. The device of claim 144, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user from the at least one social network using at least a portion of login data associated with the at least one authorized user comprises:

circuitry for submitting to the at least one social network at least a portion of biometric data associated with the at least one authorized user.

146. The device of claim 138, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network comprises:

circuitry for obtaining permission from the at least one authorized user to access at least a portion of a profile that is marked private via the at least one social network.

147. The device of claim 138, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network comprises:

circuitry for obtaining permission from the at least one authorized user to access at least a portion of a profile that is marked private via the at least one social network; and

circuitry for retrieving the at least one indication of family relation from the at least a portion of the profile that is marked private utilizing a limited-use access code with the at least one social network.

148. The device of claim 138, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network comprises:

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user from the at least one social network via an interoperability protocol for social networking.

149. The device of claim 133, wherein the circuitry for obtaining at least one indication of family relation for at least one authorized user via at least one social networking interaction comprises:

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network application.

159. The device of claim 155, wherein the circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one browser-based interaction comprises:

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via at least one cookie stored by a browser that is facilitating the at least one browser-based interaction.

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one social network communication.

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from voice data derived from at least one of an audio call or a video call communicated at least partially using at least one social network.

circuitry for obtaining the at least one indication of family relation for the at least one authorized user via the at least one social networking interaction from at least one other device that is communicatively coupled to the one or more user devices.
