- receiving a command from a user for an electronic note;
displaying a note entry user interface in response to the command, the note entry user interface comprising a text field, a date field, and a graphical control;
receiving text in the text field;
receiving a date and time in the date field;
receiving a selection of the graphical control;
setting a comment property equal to the text in the text field;
setting a begindate property equal to the date and time in the date field;
executing object-oriented programming that creates a calendar entry in an electronic calendar application from the comment property and the begindate property; and
storing in memory the calendar entry associated with the date and time in response to the selection of the graphical control.
