1. A method comprising:
- providing a device that includes at least one touch sensor, the device having a plurality of surfaces and a plurality of edges, each surface of the plurality of surfaces separated from at least one adjoining surface of the plurality of surfaces by a respective edge of the plurality of edges of the device, each edge of the plurality of edges comprising an angle of deviation between two surfaces of the plurality of surfaces of at least approximately 45°
;
detecting at least one touch at one or more of the surfaces or edges of the plurality of surfaces and edges, one or more of the at least one touch detected at a surface or edge that is distinct from a front surface of the device, the front surface overlaying an electronic display of the device and comprising a touch-sensitive area implemented by the at least one touch sensor; and
identifying a particular user action based upon at least the at least one touch at the one or more surfaces or edges of the plurality of surfaces and edges.

Abstract
In one embodiment, a method includes providing a device that includes at least one touch sensor. The device has a plurality of surfaces and edges. A plurality of touches at one or more of the surfaces or edges are detected. At least one of these touches is detected at a surface or edge that is distinct from a front surface of the device that overlays an electronic display of the device and includes a touch-sensitive area. A user action is identified based upon at least the plurality of touches at the one or more surfaces or edges of the device.
