Abstract
The method includes dispersing copper or other material ions through the water receiving area of a gutter guard for the prevention of moss or mold growth. The method includes the utilization of thread(s) sewn into or embroidered onto or otherwised affixed to or immediately preceding the water receiving areas of a gutter guard, such thread(s) being comprised of moss killing materials. The thread(s) comprise only a portion of the water receiving area, so if corrosive elements form and wash over the water receiving area, they will be in sufficient amounts to kill moss but not in so great an amount as to clog any water receiving apertures. The method includes the utilization of staples or other objects comprised of copper or other moss killing materials fastened to or adhered or welded to the body or water receiving areas of a gutter guard or areas immediately preceding such.

Comprising: A galvanicly passive/cathodic porous material, screen, or cloth having a thread, of a length, or plurality of comparatively anodic sacrificial threads, of a length, present on, in, or under a first or top surface of the porous material;
such sacrificial threads comprised of or coated with material having more than 0.15 Volt (zero point one five Volt) difference between the galvanicly passive/cathodic porous material and the galvanicly active/anodic thread or plurality of threads.

The sacrificial galvanicly active/anodic thread or plurality of threads of Claim Five of a number and transversing in a direction that, in the event the threads dissipate, the galvanicly passive/cathodic porous material, screen , or cloth will maintain an amount of structural integrity and a filtration ability.

8. The sacrificial galvanicly active/anodic thread or plurality of threads, of Claim Five, of a number that;
- when dissipated and no longer present due to galvanic action, allow the galvanicly passive/cathodic porous material, screen, or cloth to retain an amount of structural integrity and a filtration ability.
