Abstract

The invention provides specific transgenic soybean plants, plant material and seeds, characterized in that these products harbor a specific herbicide tolerance transformation event at a specific location in the soybean genome. Tools are also provided which allow rapid and unequivocal identification of the event in biological samples.

42. A DNA molecule comprising, in order, the following nucleotide sequences or sequences with at least 90% sequence identity to the following sequences:

a) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No 2 from nucleotide 1 to 1451;

b) the nucleotide sequence of the complement of the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 6760 to nucleotide 6958;

c) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 6874 to nucleotide 7298;

d) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 7 to nucleotide 7291;

e) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 12 to nucleotide 7265;

f) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 3 from nucleotide 217 to nucleotide 240; and

g) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 3 from nucleotide 241 to nucleotide 1408.

50. The DNA molecule of claim 42, wherein said DNA molecule comprises, in order, sequences with at least 95% sequence identity to the following sequences:

a) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 2 from nucleotide 1 to 1451;

b) the nucleotide sequence of the complement of the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 6760 to nucleotide 6958;

c) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 6874 to nucleotide 7298;

d) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 7 to nucleotide 7291;

e) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 12 to nucleotide 7265;

f) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 3 from nucleotide 217 to nucleotide 240; and

g) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 3 from nucleotide 241 to nucleotide 1408.

51. The DNA molecule of claim 42, wherein said DNA molecule comprises, in order, sequences with at least 99% sequence identity to the following sequences:

a) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 2 from nucleotide 1 to 1451;

b) the nucleotide sequence of the complement of the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 6760 to nucleotide 6958;

c) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 6874 to nucleotide 7298;

d) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 7 to nucleotide 7291;

e) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 12 to nucleotide 7265;

f) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 3 from nucleotide 217 to nucleotide 240; and

g) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 3 from nucleotide 241 to nucleotide 1408.

52. The DNA molecule of claim 42, wherein said DNA molecule comprises, in order, the following nucleotide sequences:

a) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 2 from nucleotide 1 to 1451;

b) the nucleotide sequence of the complement of the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 6760 to nucleotide 6958;

c) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 6874 to nucleotide 7298;

d) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 7 to nucleotide 7291;

e) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 from nucleotide 12 to nucleotide 7265;

f) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 3 from nucleotide 217 to nucleotide 240; and

g) the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 3 from nucleotide 241 to nucleotide 1408.

A nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence with at least 95% sequence identity to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 11 from nucleotide position 1452 to nucleotide position 16638 or the complement thereof, or a nucleotide sequence with at least 95% sequence identity to SEQ ID No. 11 or the complement thereof.

53. The nucleic acid molecule of claim 48, wherein said nucleotide sequence has at least 95% sequence identity to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 11 from nucleotide position 1452 to nucleotide position 16638 or the complement thereof.

54. The nucleic acid molecule of claim 48, wherein said nucleotide sequence has at least 99% sequence identity to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 11 from nucleotide position 1452 to nucleotide position 16638 or the complement thereof.

55. The nucleic acid molecule of claim 48, wherein said nucleotide sequence has least 95% sequence identity to SEQ ID No. 11 or the complement thereof.

56. The nucleic acid molecule of claim 48, wherein said nucleotide sequence has least 99% sequence identity to SEQ ID No. 11 or the complement thereof.

49. A nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence hybridizing to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 11 from nucleotide position 1452 to nucleotide position 16638 or the complement thereof, or hybridizing to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 11 or the complement thereof.

58. The nucleic acid molecule of claim 49, wherein said nucleotide sequence hybridizes to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 11 from nucleotide position 1452 to nucleotide position 16638 or the complement thereof.

59. The nucleic acid molecule of claim 49, wherein said nucleotide sequence hybridizes to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 11 or the complement thereof.

57. The nucleic acid molecule of 48, wherein said nucleotide sequence comprises SEQ ID No. 11.

60. A nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence with at least 95% sequence identity to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 or the complement thereof.

61. The nucleic acid molecule of claim 60, wherein said nucleic acid molecule comprises a nucleotide sequence with at least 99% sequence identity to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 or the complement thereof.

62. The nucleic acid molecule of claim 60, wherein said nucleic acid molecule comprises the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 or the complement thereof.
