Abstract

An elevator system includes a control for controlling an elevator into an idle state and/or for cancelling the idle state. The elevator system is configured to receive data from a control circuit external to the elevator system, and the control is arranged to form a control command for controlling the elevator into an idle state and/or for cancelling the idle state on the basis of data received from a control circuit external to the elevator system.

Claims

1. An elevator system, comprising:

a control (1a, 1b) for controlling an elevator into an idle state and/or for cancelling the idle state, wherein the elevator system is configured to receive data from a control circuit external to the elevator system;

system, and

wherein the control is arranged to form a control command for controlling the elevator into an idle state and/or for cancelling the idle state on the basis of data received from a control circuit external to the elevator system.

3. The elevator system according to claim 1, wherein the control circuit external to the elevator system is a control circuit for the lighting of the building.

4. The elevator system according to claim 1, wherein the control circuit external to the elevator system is a control circuit for door locking.

5. The elevator system according to claim 1, wherein the control circuit external to the elevator system is an access control circuit of a building.

15. The elevator system according to claim 1, wherein the elevator is controlled into an energy-saving mode during an idle state.

16. The elevator system according to claim 1, wherein the elevator car is driven to a predefined point in the elevator hoistway during an idle state of the elevator.

19. The elevator system according to claim 3, wherein the control circuit external to the elevator system is a control circuit for door locking.

2. An elevator system, comprising:

an elevator control unit for controlling the movement of an elevator car,

wherein the elevator control unit is configured to receive data from a control circuit external to the elevator;

system, and

the elevator control unit is arranged to start an elevator run sequence for cancelling the idle state of the elevator on the basis of data received from the control circuit external to the elevator system.

17. The elevator system according to claim 2, wherein the control circuit external to the elevator system is a control circuit for the lighting of the building.

18. The elevator system according to claim 2, wherein the control circuit external to the elevator system is a control circuit for door locking.

20. The elevator system according to claim 2, wherein the control circuit external to the elevator system is an access control circuit of a building.

6. An elevator system, into connection with which are fitted a detector configured to detect an elevator passenger, said elevator system comprising:

a control for controlling an elevator into an idle state and/or for cancelling the idle state,

wherein the detector is fitted to detect an elevator passenger while he/she is at a distance from the entrance of the elevator car, and

the control is arranged to form a control command for controlling the elevator into an idle state and/or for cancelling the idle state on the basis of the performed detection of the elevator passenger at a distance from the entrance of the elevator car.

The elevator system according to claim 6, wherein the distance is determined such that at least the same amount of time (10) is spent on the transfer of a passenger the amount of distance at the estimated transfer speed as for the return of the elevator from an idle state to operational readiness.

8. The elevator system according to claim 7, wherein the time to be taken for the return of an elevator from an idle state to operational readiness is at least approx. 5 seconds.

9. The elevator system according to claim 7, wherein the time to be taken for the return of an elevator from an idle state to operational readiness is at most approx. 15 seconds.

10. The elevator system according to claim 6, wherein the detector is fitted to already detect an elevator passenger arriving at the building while he/she is outside the building.

11. The elevator system according to claim 6, wherein the detector is fitted in connection with the entrance of the building.

12. The elevator system according to claim 6, wherein the detector comprises a part to be carried along with an elevator passenger as well as a fixed stationary part;

and

wherein the part to be carried along with an elevator passenger and the stationary part are configured to form a wireless data transfer connection with each other for detecting an elevator passenger.

13. The elevator system according to claim 12, wherein the part carried along with an elevator passenger comprises identification for identifying an elevator passenger.

14. The elevator system according to claim 12, wherein the data to be transferred between the part to be carried along with an elevator passenger and the fixed stationary part is transmitted as electromagnetic radiation.
