Abstract

Disclosed is an information processing method comprising the steps of: storing measured position information in association with first time information representing times of day at which the measured position information is obtained; storing video information in association with second time information representing times of day at which the video information is obtained; and associating the measured position information with the video information in accordance with degrees of difference between the first time information and the second time information.

Claims

1. An information processing method comprising:

obtaining content data and position data in association with the content data; and

displaying an indication indicating the content data is associated with the position data which is obtained when the position data fulfills a predefined condition.

2. The information processing method of claim 1,

wherein the position data is acquired intentionally by a user.

3. The information processing method of claim 1, further comprising:

associating the content data with the position data,

wherein the content data is acquired by a first device and the position data is acquired by a second device which is different from the first device.

4. The information processing method of claim 1,

wherein the content data is associated with the position data based on a plurality of the position data.

5. The information processing method of claim 1, further comprising:

displaying the content data on a map based on the position data in association with the content data.

6. The information processing method of claim 5,

wherein the content data is image data and the content data is displayed as a thumbnail.

7. An information processing apparatus comprising:

an obtaining device configured to obtain content data and position data in association with the content data; and

a display device configured to display an indication indicating the position data is obtained when the position data fulfills a predefined condition.

8. The apparatus of claim 8,

wherein the position data is acquired intentionally by a user.

9. The apparatus of claim 8, further comprising:

an associating device configured to associate the content data with the position data,

wherein the content data is acquired by a first device and the position data is acquired by a second device which is different from the first device.

10. The apparatus of claim 8,

wherein the content data is associated with the position data based on a plurality of the position data.

11. The apparatus of claim 8, further comprising:

displaying the content data on a map based on the position data in association with the content data.

12. The apparatus of claim 11,

wherein the content data is image data and the content data is displayed as a thumbnail.

13. A non-transitory program storage medium configured to store computer program instructions, which when executed by a computer, cause an information processing apparatus to execute steps comprising:

obtaining content data and position data in association with the content data; and

displaying an indication indicating the position data is obtained when the position data fulfills a predefined condition.

14. The non-transitory program storage medium of claim 13,

wherein the position data is acquired intentionally by a user.

15. The non-transitory program storage medium of claim 13, further comprising:

associating the content data with the position data,

wherein the content data is acquired by a first device and the position data is acquired by a second device which is different from the first device.

16. The non-transitory program storage medium of claim 13,

wherein the content data is associated with the position data based on a plurality of the position data.

17. The non-transitory program storage medium of claim 13, further comprising:

displaying the content data on a map bases on the position data in association with the content data.

18. The non-transitory program storage medium of claim 13,

wherein the content data is image data and the content data is displayed as a thumbnail.
