Abstract

According to certain embodiments, a method for removing a peak of an input signal includes forming a peak group including multiple peaks having an amplitude greater than a preset signal threshold value in the input signal, generating a cancellation pulse corresponding to the peak group, and generating a output signal by subtracting the cancellation pulse from the input signal.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

forming a peak group including a plurality of peaks having an amplitude greater than a preset signal threshold value in an input signal;

generating a cancellation pulse corresponding to the peak group; and

generating an output signal by subtracting the cancellation pulse from the input signal.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein forming a peak group comprises:

sensing the plurality of peaks having the amplitude greater than the signal threshold value in the input signal;

measuring a distance between neighboring peaks; and

forming peaks having a distance between the peaks within a preset reference distance as one peak group.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein measuring a distance comprises measuring a distance between boundaries of the plurality of peaks.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the reference distance comprises a distance between peaks of a preset noise cancellation signal.

5. The method of claims 4, wherein the peak of the noise cancellation signal comprises a part exceeding a preset pulse threshold value in the noise cancellation signal, and

wherein the distance between peaks of the noise cancellation signal comprises a distance between boundaries of the peaks of the noise cancellation signal.

6. The method of claims 5, wherein the generating of the cancellation pulse comprises generating,the cancellation pulse corresponding to the peak group according to the noise cancellation signal.

7. The method of claim 1, further comprising amplifying the input signal.

8. An apparatus comprising:

a peak group sensor configured to form a peak group including a plurality of peaks having an amplitude greater than a preset signal threshold value in an input signal;

a cancellation pulse generator (CPG) configured to generate a cancellation pulse corresponding to the peak group; and

a signal subtraction unit configured to generate an output signal by subtracting the cancellation pulse from the input signal.

9. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the peak group sensor is configured to:

sense the plurality of peaks having the amplitude greater than the signal threshold value in the input signal;

measure a distance between neighboring peaks; and

form peaks having a distance between peaks within a preset reference distance as one peak group.

10. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the peak group sensor is configured to measure a distance between boundaries of the plurality of peaks.

11. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the reference distance comprises a distance between peaks of a preset noise cancellation signal.

12. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the peak of the noise cancellation signal comprises a part exceeding a preset pulse threshold value in the noise cancellation signal, and

the distance between peaks of the noise cancellation signal comprises a distance between boundaries of the peaks of the noise cancellation signal.

13. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the cancellation pulse generator is configured to generate a cancellation pulse corresponding to the peak group according to the noise cancellation signal.

14. The apparatus of claim 8, further comprising an amplifier configured to amplify the input signal.

15. Code embodied on a non-transitory computer-readable medium, when executed by at least one processor, configured to perform at least the following:

form a peak group including a plurality of peaks having an amplitude greater than a preset signal threshold value in an input signal;

generate a cancellation pulse corresponding to the peak group; and

generate an output signal by subtracting the cancellation pulse from the input signal.

16. The code of claim 15, further configured to form the peak group by:

sensing the plurality of peaks having the amplitude greater than the signal threshold value in the input signal;

measuring a distance between neighboring peaks; and

forming peaks having a distance between the peaks within a preset reference distance as one peak group.

17. The code of claim 16, further configured to measure the distance by measuring a distance between boundaries of the plurality of peaks.

18. The code of claim 17, wherein the reference distance comprises a distance between peaks of a preset noise cancellation signal.

19. The code of claims 18, wherein the peak of the noise cancellation signal comprises a part exceeding a preset pulse threshold value in the noise cancellation signal, and

wherein the distance between peaks of the noise cancellation signal comprises a distance between boundaries of the peaks of the noise cancellation signal.

20. The code of claims 19, further configured to generate the cancellation pulse by generating the cancellation pulse corresponding to the peak group according to the noise cancellation signal.
