1. A method of estimating a cost of operating a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system, comprising:
- receiving HVAC system information;
generating at least one of an HVAC system energy consumption estimate and an HVAC system operation cost estimate as a function of the HVAC system information and a thermodynamic model of at least a portion of the HVAC system; and
presenting at least one of the HVAC system energy consumption estimate and the HVAC system operation cost estimate.
