Abstract

Provided is a pneumatic tire using a rubber composition which makes it possible to keep rolling resistance low, prevent the accumulation of static electricity during the running of the tire, suppress an increase over time in electrical resistance of the tire, and improve durability. The present invention relates to a rubber composition, including: a rubber component including two or more diene rubber; and carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 400 m²/g or more in an amount of 5 to 30 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, wherein the rubber composition has a degree of carbon black dispersion determined by counting agglomerates based on JIS K 6812 “Method for the assessment of the degree of pigment or carbon black dispersion in polyolefin pipes, fittings and compounds” of 90% or more.

Claims

1. A rubber composition for at least one of an inner sidewall layer and a breaker cushion, comprising:

a rubber component comprising two or more diene rubbers; and

carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 400 m²/g or more in an amount of 5 to 30 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component,

wherein the rubber composition has a degree of carbon black dispersion determined by counting agglomerates based on JIS K 6812 “

Method for the assessment of the degree of pigment or carbon black dispersion in polyolefin pipes, fittings and compounds”

of 90% or more.

2. The rubber composition for at least one of an inner sidewall layer and a breaker cushion according to claim 1, which is obtained by a preparation method comprising:

a base kneading step 1 of kneading at least one rubber including a diene rubber having the lowest solubility parameter among the two or more diene rubbers with the carbon black; and

a base kneading step 2 of kneading a kneaded mixture obtained by the base kneading step 1 with at least one rubber including a diene rubber having the highest solubility parameter among the two or more diene rubbers.

3. The rubber composition for at least one of an inner sidewall layer and a breaker cushion according to claim 2, which is obtained by the preparation method further comprising a rekneading step of rekneading a kneaded mixture obtained by the base kneading step 2.

4. A pneumatic tire, comprising:

at least one of an inner sidewall rubber layer and a breaker cushion rubber which are formed from the rubber composition according to claim 1.

5. The pneumatic tire according to claim 4, comprising:

a tread portion;

a sidewall portion;

a bead portion;

a carcass extending from the tread portion via the sidewall portion to the bead portion; and

a breaker portion located outwardly from the carcass in a radial direction of the tire,

wherein the tread portion, the breaker portion, and the sidewall portion comprise a tread rubber, a breaker rubber, and a sidewall rubber, respectively, all of which have a volume specific resistance of 1×

cm or more,

wherein the pneumatic tire comprises;

an inner sidewall rubber layer that is placed between the carcass and the sidewall rubber;

a breaker cushion rubber that is placed in contact with the inner sidewall rubber layer and placed below both ends of a breaker;

a coating rubber that is placed so as to cover an upper side of the breaker portion while having a contact area with the breaker cushion rubber;

a conducting rubber that is embedded in the tread portion so as to be in contact with the coating rubber and partially exposed on the tread surface; and

a bead portion rubber that is placed in contact with the inner sidewall rubber layer and placed in an area of the bead portion which comes into contact with a rim flange, and

wherein all of the inner sidewall rubber layer, the breaker cushion rubber, the coating rubber, the conducting rubber, and the bead portion rubber have a volume specific resistance of less than 1×

6. The pneumatic tire according to claim 4,

wherein the inner sidewall rubber layer has a thickness of 0.2 to 1.0 mm.

7. The pneumatic tire according to claim 5,

wherein the bead portion rubber is a clinch rubber or a chafer rubber.

8. The pneumatic tire according to claim 5,

wherein the conducting rubber is formed continuously in a circumferential direction of the tire.

9. A rubber composition for at least one of a clinch and a chafer, comprising:

a rubber component comprising two or more diene rubbers; and

carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 400 m²/g or more in an amount of 5 to 30 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component,

wherein the rubber composition has a degree of carbon black dispersion determined by counting agglomerates based on JIS K 6812 “

Method for the assessment of the degree of pigment or carbon black dispersion in polyolefin pipes, fittings and compounds”

of 90% or more.

10. The rubber composition for at least one of a clinch and a chafer according to claim 9, which is obtained by a preparation method comprising:

a base kneading step 1 of kneading at least one rubber including a diene rubber having the lowest solubility parameter among the two or more diene rubbers with the carbon black; and

a base kneading step 2 of kneading a kneaded mixture obtained by the base kneading step 1 with at least one rubber including a diene rubber having the highest solubility parameter among the two or more diene rubbers.

11. The rubber composition for at least one of a clinch and a chafer according to claim 10, which is obtained by the preparation method further comprising a rekneading step of rekneading a kneaded mixture obtained by the base kneading step 2.

12. A pneumatic tire, comprising:

at least one of a clinch rubber and a chafer rubber which are formed from the rubber composition according to claim 9.

13. The pneumatic tire according to claim 12, comprising:

a tread portion;

a sidewall portion;

a bead portion;

a carcass extending from the tread portion via the sidewall portion to the bead portion; and

a breaker portion located outwardly from the carcass in a radial direction of the tire,

wherein the tread portion, the breaker portion, and the sidewall portion comprise a tread rubber, a breaker rubber, and a sidewall rubber, respectively, all of which have a volume specific resistance of 1×

wherein the pneumatic tire comprises;

an inner sidewall rubber layer that is placed between the carcass and the sidewall rubber;

a breaker cushion rubber that is placed in contact with the inner sidewall rubber layer and placed below both ends of a breaker;

a coating rubber that is placed so as to cover an upper side of the breaker portion while having a contact area with the breaker cushion rubber;

a conducting rubber that is embedded in the tread portion so as to be in contact with the coating rubber and partially exposed on the tread surface; and

a bead portion rubber that is placed in contact with the inner sidewall rubber layer and placed in an area of the bead portion which comes into contact with a rim flange,

wherein the bead portion rubber is at least one of the clinch rubber and the chafer rubber, and

wherein all of the inner sidewall rubber layer, the breaker cushion rubber, the coating rubber, the conducting rubber, and the bead portion rubber have a volume specific resistance of less than 1×

14. The pneumatic tire according to claim 13,

wherein the conducting rubber is formed continuously in a circumferential direction of the tire.
